I had that problem, mate. Lost 25-30% in an hour of constant use. Went back to rc2 last night. Been on the phone for almost 2hrs straight and I'm down only 12%. Much happier.

I'm running RC2 and love the improved performance but AT&T is now telling me I need to go back to the authorized AT&T OS! I DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT. So I am posting this to see if anyone else has experienced what I am going through.
After installing the RC2 I had to activate BES. After I activated BES, I noticed a number of my apps would not connect to the internet (WiFi or H+). I would get a message that said to the effect "...cannot connect to the Internet. Check with your service provider to make sure you have BIS enabled" The apps that would not work included BB Travel, BB Traffic, Evernote, Nobex Radio and a few more. When I called AT&T, I was told to get the new 4G SIM. Changing the SIM has fixed every app except BB Travel! When I called AT&T again, they couldn't figure it out so they sent me to RIM.
The guy at RIM said AT&T had me configured with the BIBS Service Books but I did not have the Blackberry Browsing Service. Then I went back to AT&T and they said everything is configured correctly but they cannot do anything since I am running a non-supported plan.
So has anyone else had a similar experience? Do I have to stop using BB Travel or downgrade to 7.0, neither of which I want to do. Also, any recommendations for a different travel tracking app that works as nicely as BB Travel.
Moved from RC4 >>>>>>> [RC2 | .523sfi |.569 base]
This worked well earlier & hope it does once again.
hi zoc
is there any news about OS6  becuase i really hope that it is going to be here soon ;)
I really cant wait :D
A little bird informed me that the official OS for the 9900 will be released sometime this week.:D
downgrading to rc2.. with .569 base and radio...
How come you're going back to rc2?
Wow... As I can see, I was not the only one who had mentioned the difference between rc2 and all other rc's. After two days and several battery pulls my 9900 runs smooth. The battery life is great. I would call the RC2 over .569 with .523sfi a "must have" for 9900.

Great idea with adding a "donate" button. Sleepless nights have to be compensated. ;)
rc4 was bad for me... 3 days up... 15%/hour battery drain
9930 just got .649 released.
Ooo I did not realize there was a donate button now. I was going to ask for one, because I agree, all this work & sleepless nights should be compensated for. ;) Thanks Zocs & BL team!
Which Network? , After the leak of this OS the official version will be no different btw.
Chinese Telecom, here is the link : http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...elekom-742206/
Great thanks, god do they really test their OS`s before releasing them :)
your guess is as good as mine.....LOL
I am on RC4 and it is not liking my device, the ADR is still very high in the teens and am losing battery fast. Rest seems fine. Temp is between 17-20 cel.
Will check for a couple of more days and if remains the same might as well get back to RC3.
I would say there is no need to wait for couple more days. There are several posts on last two pages (including mine) about the issues with RC4.
Sorry lads, RC4 was an experiment with new structure which might work on some and not others.
RC3 is my best work to date, I might put up RC5 with 634 mix and RC3 structure.
Watch this space.

Thanks Zocs,
Definately no Need to be sorry, as you had said earlier .649 was the worst leak till date and now its gone Official hence that explains why you said so. The base was from .649 in RC4.
I should maybe go back to RC3 in that case ?
I will be eagarly be waiting for the RC5:D
Stick to what works, am going to use some good bits of 649 which are not much. 580 was smooth, much more so than 649.

If Zoc's best work is RC3 on a .569 base with a .523 sfi, then why is everyone going back to RC2 and bypassing RC3?

RC3 was worse than RC4, for me, so I went back to RC2 with 569 base.
Meterberry results :
When I was with RC4-B,
12-hrs back, loaded RC2 and now,
