i almost forgot how to load an os :P
RC20 up and running :D
I am having an issue on my 9900 with the Podcast subscriptions not updating automatically using with either the SMART or DAILY option. If I perform a manual Refresh, it does find the latest podcasts. I am using 1098 with RC20 on a T-Mobile US 9900. Is this just my device or is this a common issue? Thank you for any assistance.
7.1.0.1098 OS has been released for BlackBerry 9790 by O2 UK Download here :)
Just a question, anyone else having problems answering calls? It seems when I get a call and attempt to answer I alway get a ring tone and have hit the answer button a second time to actually pick up the call Could it be a bug in the Phone cods running 1066 SFI because of the 9930 I have, So running your hybrid on 1066 Verizon SFI
i havent been active on the forum, (year end's and audits)

What, go BB10 and miss out on all your brilliant Hybrids, no thanks. You make my 9900 do everything I need it to do so well.
Maybe when we get BL Ultimate for BB10 !!!
Just installed r20 on my 9860 and it running super another great update also multicast works too very nice touch to the os cheers :)
Yes, I too keep considering a Q10 or maybe a Q30 (when released) as the one issue I have with my 9900 is I cannot get a full day of battery out of it even running BL. I will admit that when not running Bl and using stock software I didn't have a fighting chance of getting a full day of battery out of the device. I tether with my Playbook often and use Bluetooth a lot which is likely the root of my issue. I am going to look into a stock sized upgraded battery option shortly. Any recommendations? ;)

I accept that eventually I will have to retire my beloved bold but until the time comes these Hybrids have it running smooth as silk.
Interesting to see if the Q30 is more "Bold Like" that the Q10, but I suspect it will be the same as the 10 but with a bigger screen.
unfortunately it will be iphone
as long as its not square i will jump on it.
It a lovely cold morning here in the just woke up with a idea if multicast works can't we try and port the lock screen cods? This could be a sily idea just needed to ask :)
No, we couldn't have the lock screen feature due to in compatiblity between standby cod and ribbon cods. unless we have the same OSes or at least very2 close like 1046 and 1047.

That a shame being a blackberry I bet most files are locked so we can't mod/change them someone needs to find away lol going back awhile with sony/nokia/andoird I was able to mess/mods files to bring stuff like boot screen,720pect I love my backbery to much to switch :)
What happened to the guy who kept throwing tantrums about this? He was the best entertainment we've had in awhile.
Will rc20 work with a 9720 without losing any functionality?... Got a 9720 along with my current 9860 also and wondering if i can install rc20 on the 9720 without any repercussions.
RC20 works with a 9720, but you'll loose the screen lock/standy lock.

It is a work bb and i dont want to alter it too much. I will stick around with the upgraded os from stock until 7.2 comes along with the lock feature ... :rotfl:
Seconded!
Nah, not me. I do have a Z10 and Q10 but I keep coming back to my trusty 9900 and 9930! (with the accompanying hybrids) . Now if only someone could develop a "Hub" app (as in BB10) for the BB99X0, it would complete the picture for the 9900. I love my 9900 and the only thing I miss from my BB10 is the "HUB"
if this thread is dead than its time to confirm RIP RIM
Hoping for a Christmas Day Special from Sator like he gave us last year.
Fingers crossed !!!
Apparently the legacy devices are still doing better. So I think this thread will stay alive for some time now.
