What do you suggest 7b or V4 ? Does V4 run cooler than V3 ?
Maybe you can try V4, it's a lil bit cooler and also faster.

Yes, there was RC7B2, it was being tested by the team when 746 came out with the new features (maps's bar and customized LED), so Iking made a new mix with base 746 and it's called BL returns V1.0.0
I think it's better for you to PM Zocster or Ian if you wanna try RC7B2.

Unfortunately it won't work with 714 SFI, 694 is a kind of special build for at&t to over come their Mic issue.

Thanks Sator, I have done as you suggest.
7B1 just seemed to run better for me than Returns does, so 7B2 would be great to try.
Plus it would be criminal after all your hard work on it for it never to see the light of day.
I think that Maxx would be quite keen to give a go too !!!
Look forward to your next build for us. 7B1 is simply the best so far as my 9900 is concerned.

Not to mean any disrespect to BL returns ( it has done well for many) but the fact that .714 is a Very Good OS and sfi and offcourse the genius of Sator to create an Excellent Hybrid OS.................. far superior in performace than the stock OS.
RC7b1 was a Winner hands down ! The BEST till date from the BL stable, so if there is a b2 lurking around i will be amongst the First to grab it with both hands and feet:rotfl:

Went back to RC7B1. Seems to be the best for my phone, especially idling on 3G/4G! :)

Re: BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices
Ya, I tried 746 plus Bl Returns v1 and my BB9900 did not like it as much as .714/RCB1 so went went to .714/RCB1. Would be interested in RCB2 also.
Thank you again for all your hard work BL team.

So, you are going for the 7B1 or the BL returns?

Re: BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices
I have just now installed BL Return V1 on 9860 on base 746 with 714 sfi (Large). Although, I was getting good result with base .714 but thought to test with .746 base. Has more users of 9860 used return with this combination. Now, going thru above discussions, we are again on cross road to decide whether to go for Return or RC? Is it not to listen from horses mouth Zocs, sator or ifraser, what are basic differences in RC and Return build? I understand both have been developed for 746 base and .714 sfi (larger).

I believe the 7B1 was built for .714 and not for .746. So you dont have a RC to go with .746, only the Return V1.

RC7B1 was made to run with .714 (preferable) or .658 SFI (at that time there were no OS.746 yet, so there were no 746 cods in the RC7B1 or even B2), luckily both OS 714 and 746 can run either with 714 or 746 sfi, same as OS 658 and OS .714.
Trying different bases will have effects if we use other languages beside Englih US n UK, otherwise it's almost the same, since most of the important cods will be overwritten by the hydrid.
IMO both JallLang 714 n 746 SFi's are good, I prefer 714 since it's a lil cooler for me.
