WTH is wrong with my device after loading RC2 Hybrid?? It's effing awesome!! lol :p
Installed RC2 Hybrid on 569 base almost 2days ago, fresh installed my third-party apps (yep, its tedious but worth it), didn't shrink Task to avoid alleged uncaught exception issue at startup.
MeterBerry:
- Battery drain on idle at night: 0.6% hour
- Battery drain on day time, average usage: 3-4hours
- Memory leak since startup (10hours ago): -0.6MB
- 12hours passed and I still have 50% battery @ 3G
- Browsing speed is very good but not excellent
- UI is crisp
- Bootup is fine: average hybrid bootup time
Thanks Zoc! I really should donate! Lol :p
Ooppss..edited. LOL
mmmm, KH Hybrid??? not sure is you have the right thread, BL Hybrid is this thread
Although your results look like it might be our hybrid you are using :)

Thanks for that, confused...lol
Good to hear you are seeing the improvements that the OS provides. it is amazing!
Will see what I can do tomorrow, need to make an installer.
Would be easier for you to load it with DM or apploader.

Probably won't but could always try. You'll get a mismatch error if it doesn't suit

This is the first ever hybrid i have loaded, and i love it! :D
I was wondering whether it is worth me loading RC2, all i am really interested in is battery life, does RC2 have better battery life than the first release?
Thanks
Thanks for that, if you like things a bit smoother the RC2 mix is worth a try.
Ian
Now that you have run the Mk2 for a while can you tell a real noticeable difference between the two ?
Lifetime of the battery as priority number three for me ..besides just two days using it, have not been able to conclude ...(But my feelings seem RC2 is to be more durable) Most important is ,performance of RC2 certainly more solid and responsive ... :)
Battery life is fairly comparable to RC1 - currently around 2.54% ABD
The apps are smoother, Browsing is faster both using 3G and wifi
Signal lock and the drop back to 3G from wifi is really fast also.
should i paste the java over a fresh base OS install? or just paste it over the first java mix
Better to paste over a fresh install just in case.
depends of you, both is oke.... but i'm only extract the new one n paste on folder java (java mix) ..
Best to have freshly installed base

Battery life : Awesome! Out of charger at 06:30, now at 16:47 i have 64%...
- four long calls and several short (1,5 hours total i guess) ;
- maybe 30-40 BBM
- around 40 e-mail
No use of FB or twitter
As for browser... My Bold is putting SII in the pocket :D
Thanks for a awesome build!
PS - All in 3G!
Well if it makes you feel any better I was
-off charge at 7.20,
-made calls
-BBM direct and from Groups
-used social apps once or twice and hour
-Lots of browsing and video downloads
- wifi on all day and UMA connected
And i still on 60% at 17:00
So it can only get better :)
It makes me feel wayyy better (and envious lol :D ) !!! IT means the best is yet to come! :D :D
damn, wish signal quality here just like where you two are & i'll be the happiest man.
trying to add both BL 1 and 2 into my 569 java + deleted some of the .cod that won't work here. let see what will happen... (finger cross) :D
