That's what i want to say about my next loaded hybrid. Everything else I can get around but signal is tricky. I didn't even know the 9810 has a .1033 OS. Think I've been gone too long or alot has happened in the short time i was gone. Thanks for the heads up, i will try that combo see what I get.
.1033 .sfi on the 9900 was OK but .1098 best signal I have had for a long time.
My Son is also using 9860 with RC19, make sure you install OS 1033 on your PC and copy paste RC 19 files (java and alx files, copy all language cods if you use other language than US or GB) on to your base OS (do not delete your original files).
thanks u very much . i deleted original files should failre. i will try again.
Have RC 20 for bb 9860????
Hi Sator, I hope you're feeling better. Sorry for going OT in the berrylicious thread again, but I have nowhere else to take this. I wiped my phone (I tried bbhtools before and it didn't work; I can't use Triple Wipe, so I tried full erase again) and installed .1098 using loader, not BDS. The installation seemed to be cleaner, BDS really did not like dealing with the phone after full erase did its thing, but loader worked fine. However, BDS is still reporting an issue with the sfi, like before. It shows rim0x07001204.sfi as "Not Installed" in the "Installed version" column and 5.1.0.701 in the "Available version" column. The name of the sfi file in the UMTS directory is rim0x07001204.sfi. Any suggestions or is my phone this way for good? Thanks for your help.
Thanks Bimmerdriver, I'm feeling better now....
Are you using the latest BDM? I also happened to me a while ago, no worries it's not your phone (Our phones won't run/get errors without the SFI) but it's a coruppted BDM (missing one of the DLL stuff), uninstall your BDM, reboot and reinstall your latest BDM. I hope it will solve your problem.

yes, copy and paste the Hybrid files, this time I included the language cods in the RC20Java folder.
As usual, super fast and super smooth with the trademark excellent memory management and the best OS7 browser out there.
Not tried the standard .1098 so not sure if I would get the same results, but I have got to say that the signal strength of this OS is the best I can remember having for some time.
I feel bad for you guys out there who don't have .1098 for your device as yet, hopefully you will get it soon and be able to sample the RC20 awesomeness for yourselves.
