loaded the os last night,

nothing changed visually,

now i cannot load my custome theme ( from theme builder 7.1 beta)

battery drain is as close as 1033.

for some reason i was not able to get the gps for a while but in the morning every thing worked fine.

no memory drain, and after installation of os and all the apps i am left with 230 mb of free device memory.

thats it for now

temperature was mostly between 27 to 31 degree celcius and i never lost signal even indoors i am getting full 5 bars.

by the way i am still not able to understand what is sfi.

It's the radio file, you will find it in the UMTS folder in the Loader File on your PC.

Unless you physically change it yourself the .sfi you are running will be the one that came with the base OS.

thats good for people who have installed facebook and twiter, i dont use any of them so i was not able to find any use of multicasting application.

Great - thanks for the continued efforts with our 'older' devices

Whilst newer phones make me wish I could afford to replace my bold 9900 its still better than what a lot of friends have and has life left in it.

For me the shape and form factor still appeal more than pure touch screen.

I googled and they say it can do photos too, social feeds is quite handy (particularly the rss handling) but being able to upload a photo and message to twitter and facebook simultaneously would be nice (without buying an app).

Tell me this is a big joke! I just download the update 7.1.0.1047 for my bold 9900 and nothing changes, there is nothing which is like the 9720. No new screen lock, no radio, no multicast ... I'm so disappointed! Like never before! I hate blackberry!
