On day 3 of 1st anniversary with .1033. Working unbelievably fast!

Although occasionally my native browser acts up: doesn't load images and gives me a "can't connect to server" error. Even on wifi. Anyone else having this issue? Advice?

It doesn't seem to matter which site it is; it even happens in google.

Hey guys. Anyone here use any Wifi booster? They all just work one time then require payment but I don't have a card. Anyone willing to share their booster app with me please send me a PM. Would appreciate it. Thanks.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I understand there are two or three versions of sfi for 7.1.0.1033. Is there any consensus on which version of sfi to use for ultimate hybrid? I'm planning an upgrade.

There's no priority sfi, all depends on match in our device ... Although there are many .1033 OS, but only two kinds of sfi.. On jAllLang and allLang OS,had same sfi (70,9mb). ... MultiLang and AsiaLang OS had same sfi ( 65,9)

I just update my bold 9900 with RC13 for .861 OS from Digicel Group. Installation process went smooth, but when I checked the OS on my phone, it stated that version 7.1.0.865 instead of 7.1.0.861. Platform is still same 5.1.0.606. When I checked on control panel on my computer, os version is 7.1.0.861. Can anyone explain about this.

When you install a hybrid OS, it actually increases the version number by a couple numbers: that's how you know it worked.

Speaking of which, I installed 1st anniversary on .1033, but my phone still says version .1033 and bundle 2807?!?!

Yes, BL 1st anniversary will show OS 1033 (which is the highest OS so far) and bundle 2807 for 9900 and bundle 2814 for 9360.

I have a 9370 running 861 and just tried hybrids for the first time with RC18 to resolve an issue with my device. I have a couple of questions that may have already been answered. How do I test the benefit a hybrid has? What exactly does SFI refer to? And how do the ALX files help the hybrid?

For 9370 with 861 base and 861 SFI, I recommend you to try RC15, the Alx. Files only help to load the cods., the Java mixed file is the one that makes our phone performs better than the stock/official OSs (load faster and better battery life). SFI file is a Radio file, and not all sfis are compatible with certain hybrids/stock OSs.

I finally put all the pieces together to make sense of the why behind the instructions. Thank you for the explanation and the recommendation. Now to enjoy my legacy device.

SFI is the file inside UMTS folder, if you are using 1033 base+sfi, and still have the bundle 2807 instead of 2814, it must be frm the OS cod., since I used 9900 OS cod.
