If you have the time to re load then I guess that trying the T Mo .912 is worth a shot.
I can only speak for the 9900 .sfi but found the Telstra .sfi stronger than the T Mo one.
Overall, I have found .912 to be the worst of the recent 9900 releases, with both .923 and .1033 .sfi's outperforming the .912 versions on Vodafone UK, but as Sator has said, it is carrier dependant and what works for me may well not be the best choice for you.
What you really need is a new OS for your device as .912 has been around for a while.
Hey Legal - yes, would be nice if a new 9810 build came out - but I am guessing it will be a while - and maybe never since the 9810 was not nearly as popular as the 9900 (although I love mine very much!)
And today - heavy phone day- I have not had any dropped calls and signal seems stronger - so it could very well be ATT screwing with their network again . .
Oh, I just checked and I have mistakenly (really) installed the .1033 OS. And I have the Device Analyzer in my options. Curious.
My WiFi drops from time to time and I experience some slowdowns. But I think that this will end after some regular battery pulls.

Was the wifi dropping from before? My range is bad with 1033 and as a result, drops easily. Gonna try T-mobile 912 with RC18 and see. Since 7.1 I haven't used any American OS so maybe it's the far east carriers OS that could be the problem.
Hi Fellas!I haven't seen this threat for a long time.I guess the combo for Bold 9900 on Vodafone UK running BL Ultimate Hybrid 1st Anniversary over .1033 Base and .sfi is fine?Legal Eagle,I see you are already using it.Is there any special files for bold or just to download the Anniversary file in the first page?
May I have the link for the Vodafone UK .1033 release?
After a couple of days struggling with some volatile adr i decided to go for a full erase and a new load of RC Anniversary over .1033 base. And that worked well. I use my Bold as a working horse, heavy on calls, e-mail, sms and viber. Awesome job, as usual from Sator, and the magic Team
A Huge Thank you!

Unfortunately, I can't say the same. I just switched back to the ol' .823 OS. My GPS didn't work at all in the end. Yesterday and today I tried to refresh the position but it just did not want to do it. And my WiFi reception isn't substantially better than before.
Thanks alot for your support and heads-up! Hope you're able to enjoy Sator's work more than me.
Has to be the best ever thread on CB, just look at the numbers of posts and views !!!
Many thanks to all the BL Team for their fantastic work over the past year, and also to the many regular contributors past and present for helping so many people to enjoy the benefits of these amazing OS's/

LE,
Also many happy return to BL R & D dept and die hard support here.
Definitely my favourite thread, can't believe how time has flown past this last year !
Thanks to All who contributed and the die hard fans who make this thread or should i say " Family " going strong.
Though i don't possess my 9900 any more but still love to come back and contribute whenever possible.
Many Thanks to the BL team for all their hardwork ! Happy Anniversary
Edit : i like the millions & millions have enjoyed BL Hybrid OS's and learnt immensely through this thread and would wish if i could do the same when BL comes out with BB10 Hybrids
As other have mentioned like Legal Eagle, the BL hybrids are the only reason I haven't upgraded from my 9900. I'm not impressed with the new Q10 and besides my 9900 and my PB32 do what I need to get done everyday. Thanks to the BL team!
Before I installed the birthday hybrid I backed up my third party apps with BH Tool. After I wiped and reloaded my phone I manually downloaded my apps to put them back. But one of them is not available any longer and I was wondering if I can use the backup I made with BH Tool to get that one app (which I adore) that I'm missing? If I press restore on BH Tool will it bring up a listing of the individual apps that I can restore or just immediately do a mass restore which I don't want?
EDIT: Was able to go to my BBH Tool backup folder and inject the COD app file into the phone. The app is now running fine.
hey again folks. For those seeking better wifi locking and reception pls go into your saved profile and select ssid broadcasted and inter access handover then reset and see if things are better. I'm still testing but so far it seems better. btw this is for 9900 users but others can use it too.
