Installed RC17 last night on 9810 (using .912 Telstra base) - so far, everything working 100+% - seems very quick and smooth, almost as if it has already gone through batt pull/settling in regimen . . .

As always - GREAT JOB BL TEAM!!! And THANKS!!!!

It's the same as triple wipe, backup your phone, run Full Erase, and use app.loader to install your new OS.

Has anyone experienced random reboot when attempting to make a call? It has happened to me twice. I thought the first one was a fluke.

full erase will fully erase the phone, bbsk will leave some files on the phone which the developer thought are necessary to leave behind.

i did full erase and installed rc17 and now very on battery pull cycles, so far its better than rc16 and rc15

Most of the lastest OS's are running warmer due to their speed and SFI's, if you're not happy with the temp., you can try RC Xmas Ed. with base .794 and 714 sfi.

    RC X-mas Edition.rar

And it was a good one too, use the base and .sfi suggested by Sator and you will get your low temps but will miss out on the overall better performance of RC17.

Well I installed RC17 with .923 DoCoMo base and sfi. I've been having all kinds of voice call issues that I didn't have with .912 as a base and sfi prior with RC15. So my question is, can I use .923 base and .912 sfi with RC17 to try and see if my voice calling returns back to normal?

    Sator, chief, 2c,
Do we necessary need the intro video, or we get more space in our bb.

It's up to you (it's safe), if you don't like it than you can use full erase. It also does a sec. wipe.
It gains a few MBs, it means more space but it's not much.

Great. Just did the wipe with Final Wipe and re-installed with .912 sfi. This should fix my dropped calls issue as I have used .912 sfi before.
