Yeah the same goes for me; battery life is still bad. It's the third day for me, wonder how long it'll take to settle. I do notice the software is more responsive but not that much.
Did you install RC17 correctly? Your handheld should show OS 7.1.0.1011

Did you wipe your phone? RC 17 is fast and good in ADR

Wipe your phone and re install RC17 if your ADR is still high, maybe you had a bad install

I did wipe my phone. Twice. I don't have BerryMe or similar app installed on my phone; is there any way to see my ADR?

Checked it; my ADR is ~9%/h..is it normal? My network is set to 3G only (I know this one drains battery so fast, but I miss that much messages especially BBM in other networks like 2G and H), brightness 10, backlight timeout 20 sec, battery saving mode always on.
It's been 72h already since I installed RC17. Is it possible that the problem is from my unit? Because I'm using my sister's 9790 battery and she said there's no problem with her battery.

Turn your battery saving and GPS off, check your 3rd app settings (refresh), it looks like one of your 3rd app is running in the back.

    Hi Ericko,

Ask Sator to provide you a BB complete wipe software tool run a general wipe 1st from any of these wipe apps they all work the same none they are all the same and perform the same task, then run one of the complete clean and wipe BB software tools Sator will link you with and then reload your base OS and I suggest you use the T-Mobile USA releases 7.1.0.912 for your Bold 9900 works very well with my Bold 9900 in North America and then copy and past Sators Hybrid files over your stock base... give it 24 hour hours and if this doesn't work looks like your device is on the brink could be a keyboard or chip that is DC leaking within your core hardware and yes it will be time to have it repaired or replaced cuz it will only eat your battery to high heaven and cook it at the end of the day...

Get in touch with Sator and I am sure he will link you one of these BB Full Erase Tools so you can move on...

I really like T-Mobile USA releases 7.1.0.912 then the .923 for both RC 15 and RC 16 and RC 17, really goes and works very well within the North American Wireless Grid, USA and Canada

I think the Chief of Chiefs is passed out somewhere in some ones basement beside a table light stand beside a couch somewhere after his partying last night after he got his pay cheque again...

Yes it's also carriers dependent, we recommend the .923 based on our testers collective results.

    Hi Sator,

Chief of Chiefs we both are talking about is not you!

We all know who the Chief of Chiefs tester is and for the folks who don't, its an insiders joke only and the folks clearly know how to put all the dots together and connect,

Keep up the good work Sator and heads up more new updated OS's around the corner for the 7.1 OS and perhaps within the next one or two it will be making the mark into 7.2

Helped my uncle move into his new dwelling! One gripe was that the previous owners had some of their stuff in the garage already and made it difficult to navigate with ALL the furniture and sh1t....Got home LATE like around 1 AM and loaded the Q10 leak LOL....as it loaded I went and got lifted. I did this all the time loading the various RC's that ever came out, up until RC15. Then I got the beast, that is the Q10

Happy to see Sator can still 'whip it up' and bring you folks some goodies! Enjoy these builds, my friends.

Yeah I turned off my location (GPS) already; forgot to mention that. Do I need to turn off the battery saving mode too? Does it actually drain the battery faster? Twitter is running in the back, but no other app coz I always close/exit any app properly.

    And Santers, I use 9790 not 9900.

It drains batt. a lil bit more, check your twitter's refresh settings (set never), i think twitter is your culprit. You can use base .923 for your 9790.
