I have applied Bold 9930 OS 7.1.0.991 (Bundle 2705) from Verizon but without RC16. It came with BBM 6 and some of my contacts have gone missing after the update. I can't wait to apply this update with RC17.06-24-13 02:08 PMLike 0 -

- What do you mean?
What Mr. Sator is reffering to was the battery pulls one must do to ensure proper settling...Every 6 hours just pull out your battery for about 2 minutes, and put it back in. Do this for about 3 days and all should be well!
Now leave the guys alone, I hope they can make an OS10 hybrid LOL [it was a joke, don't take it too seriously]06-24-13 10:03 PMLike 0 - What do you mean?

I'm running the 9900 Rogers ROM (714 or something...) with RC16 on top; how long will it take for the RC17 to arrive?
=========================
I believe the combo of 7xx rom + RC16 is not very correct...deezy87 likes this.06-24-13 10:18 PMLike 1 - It will come when it comes LOL, if we've learned from the past the RC's tend to flow out once it has been tested internally by the group, which BL staff started, once those internal tests pass, then they bring it out of the oven to the masses!
I'm semi-jealous, it was almost cathartic reloading a fresh OS and just beating the p1ss out of my beloved 9900.
***EDIT***
I can't see a .7xx sfi working with RC16 or anything, unless he/she knows something Sator doesn't lolhieupham likes this.06-24-13 10:52 PMLike 1 - 06-24-13 11:45 PMLike 0

You should paste (overwrite) the RC Java into the existing Base OS Java .06-25-13 07:31 AMLike 2 -

should I paste just the contents of RC Java folder into the Base OS Java Folder?

I used .923 for 15 and .912 for 16
I agree that 16 seems to drain battery quicker than 15 did but not a great deal faster, and could be down to my choice of base.
If RC17 wasn't just around the corner I would re load RC16 over .923 to see how it performed.
Still hoping for a new base for the 9900 to load the next hybrid over though !!06-25-13 11:15 AMLike 0 - Did you use same base for RC15 & RC16 ?

i am going out of country tomorrow so cant stay with 16 and will go back to 15 before flying.
but it really excites me to test out the new mix as soon as it is released more than an official os release now.06-25-13 02:05 PMLike 0 - Did you use same base for RC15 & RC16 ?

Please correct me if i am wrong, option 1 (Base os 923 + R15) or option 2 (Base os 912 + R16).
Can i use option 3 (base os 923 + R16) . Because i'm using BB9900 not sure of the fast batt draining. Please let me know what the pro and cons of this RC16. I will let my BB9900 to complete the full 1 month on RC15 then i will go for the RC16.06-26-13 02:21 AMLike 0 - Hi there Legal Eagle,
