We can't even try that, as there is no .912 base lol, just the sfi, and the java files
Apparently there is now, according to this.

Does anyone has issue synching contacts from MS Outlook 2010 in DM 7.1? I'm using latest DM build.
Every time synching stucks at the same progress point.
PC system is Windows 7 x64.

I managed to overcome this issue synching my Outlook contacts with Nokia phone (through Nokia Suite), then send to Blackberry through bluetooth.

But I would prefer to synch directly through DM as it's intended to be done.

For that type of data, or any in general I'll stick with a 'WIRED' connection. Anything can happen via bluetooth, hence why I'm iffy with that sort of thing! lol

Like many may have noticed, you can't load BlackBerry Device Anaylzer v1.1.0.47 which comes with 7.1.0.912.....if you want that version here is an OTA for you folks!! Better than downgrading, right? LMFAO

Go to that link below via your BlackBerry smart phone browser, and enjoy!

Can I use a sfi file of another device? If not, how can a sfi affect the hybrid in good/bad way? I don't know if I should re-install on my 9790 with 7.1.0.907 but now with 865 os, or which sfi is the best for the 9790?

Well, it can vary from region to region.

Example, if I had a 9790 here in Canada, and the 907 sfi works good, it might not for you in South America. Just stick with what has worked for you thus far, you can always try other sfi's to see if there is a better one that meets your tastes.

But for example, If I want to test the 9900's sfi out since people have said 912 sfi is great, can I try it? Or I am supposed to use a sfi that is specified for my device?

Also, the temperature on the .907 sfi is really hot, and adr is 4.3 when idle. If someone has tried a different sfi that works better please let me know
I don't know how will .865 sfi + .907 base and RC14 will work out

You need your device specific SFI, if you use another device's sfi it won't boot up!

@bovid I learned that from being in the testing group. Different carriers, and also regions can work differently with the various types of SFI's. One can work better than the other, then again another sfi can be like a 'reigning champion' as well.

I've used the OS from my carrier twice, first time was original OS. Second time was first 7.1 OS. Since then, not once have I used the OS or sfi from my carrier.

Nice detailed write up! I believe your sfi [.746] runs cooler than others, but I bet it does get warm once the device is used moderate to heavy, right? I get to low 30's with moderate use, yet it doesn't fell as hot, kind odd.

    I'm running 7.1.0.865 with RC14B for .86x & .9xx SFI (exept .862 SFI)

    Blackberry reads 7.1 bundle 2508 v7.1.0.912

Or do you think I will run into problems?

No, you couldn't, so far the highest SFi that you can use for your 9320 is .865 sfi.

We got the .912 Java base from Maulid2 who is a Tmobile user and also from base .912 for 9360, so RC14B has all the .912 cods that are supposed to have.

You can do a reload with base .912 + 912 SFI, and delete some of the RC14B cods (brickbreakers cods, media loader accessibilty, media loader avatar, medialoader ringtones, medialoader backgrounds cods), copy and Paste it as usual and you'll have some updated apps with the .912 cods (brickbreaker, feeds, helps cods).
