- You mean free space of app storage ? it's all depend of what u shrink , how many applications are installed , and how much data that we store on your phone
EDIT : how much data you store on your phone
Mine is 227 MB ,running on Tremendous RC 14 B (v7.1.0.912, Platform 5.1.0.641) with .861 baseLast edited by fahar; 03-30-13 at 07:02 PM. Reason: slip of the tongue http://cdn-forums.crackberry.com/images/icons/icon6.png
03-30-13 06:13 PMLike 0 - RC14B over .861 with .912 .sfi
Settled very quickly, ovenight idle 0.4% less than 24 hours in.
One issue though, getting an uncaught exception error net-rim-bb-qm-peer(245) is not responding: process terminated
Any thoughts Sator ?03-31-13 04:27 AMLike 0 -

Although I don't use BBM I have not shrunk it out so that can't be the problem.
I used exactly the same shrink settings on BBH Toolds that I have used for months.

I will let you know what happens after my next scheduled battery pull later today.
Everything on the phone seems to be working as it should (touch wood)03-31-13 05:35 AMLike 0 - i had a bad install yesterday with the .912 sfi and RC14b but today post Sator's reccomendation i reloaded RC14 over .861 base for alx and .912 sfi and it is already looking Wayyyyy Beyoooond what i expected.
Already settled and sitting at a relatively cool temprature on idle ( 26 deg. cel.), the OS is snappier than ever before and signals are by far the best since AT&T v2 for me. Too early to comment on Adr and Mdr, will post later for further findings.
This has got to be the Best by far IMO.
Thanks Sator and the BL team for this stupendous OS03-31-13 07:56 AMLike 6 - Quite interesting info from a 9360 user:
"The BlackBerry Device Analyzer will no longer be bundled with BlackBerry 7.1.0.923 (bundle 2534) or higher." Maybe they are trying to get rid of this app.
Maybe we're going to see any greater releases from another carriers? (like the .923)

I think due to the improved battery performance in the latest 7.1 releases RIM will no longer need the support of BBAnalyzer , which possible used to analyze the fone and send to RIM (?) the logs in order for them to make the vital changes.03-31-13 11:10 AMLike 0 - I have a question. i dont shrink out anything and just use loader to select and deselect what i want and so I usually end up with 160mb install. Meanwhile I have read people shrink their install to 60MB or 90MB. My question however is the "extras" that are in the folder outside the java folder such as the game "klondike" Chinese browser, backup assistant and such apps. How come they dont show up in loader? And what would it take if one wanted to add these "extras" to the installation of the OS. Suppose i want to install the game sudoku. I see the .alx of it in the folder outside the java folder but it never shows up in loader.
1. The ALX file is not right. e.g sudoku.alx just have loader 1.0 line. No title, no description, and most important no list of cod file to load to the handheld
2. The cod file is not exist. e.g sudoku cod, its didn't exist in java folder, pdftogo cod, tough in doctogo.alx the list is there, but the cod file of pdf to go is not exist (just library)
3.There is restriction on alx file. e.g vendor ID .even the alx and the cod exist, if yours HH not have the same vendor ID as listed in alx file then its won't load.
Solution:
1.The dummy way is to edit alx file to match the requierment (e.g delete the restriction vendor ID on the alx file) and make sure the cod file is there on java folder
2.Make jad instalation after OS installation and instal the "extras". Google for the detail.
Sorry if is OOT and straight to the point.. I'm not fluent in english.
