I think someone mentioned that it happens when the phone detects sun light, its intentional.
I could swear its happened to me indoors as well. But then I suppose if there was glare from an overhead light or something perhaps it is the same.

I don't use BBSAK anymore, I use BBHtools to shrink an OS and wipe my device. I use BB Easy Zero once in a while to wipe the SFI.

How does BB Easy Zero wipe the sfi? That's not a supported command in the java loader. Just wondering...

BB easy zero makes our device "nuke", so the app.loader will connect to the ARM instead of to the JVM. BB easy zero also can be used to solve a 70 % stuck booting BB and a nuke BB (software problem only not hardware)

wiping does give better results but that's your choice ! if you wipe don't forget to back it up and load OS via app loader is the way to go.......all the best !
So if I wipe using BBSAK, I'd have to reload using the the hybrid OS using apploader and then do a restore using DM? Sorry, I've only done the full wipe and reload method once and that was only because the 3+ hour disaster from DM not being able to do it properly the easy/lazy way and it's been a while since I've done it. Thanks

You re right, back up >wipe (bbsak)>load (app loader) & restore using the DM.
I too was used to the DM method but when i started wiping before a load it has given me good results but i do shrink my OS as well ( but you can skip this if you are uncomfortable).

Don't worry we all are here just in case you face any issues ( i am sure you won't)......All the Best !

I've noticed that the cursor doesn't work in the file browser. The touch interface does work. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm a longtime lurker and this is my first post.

Last week, I picked up a Bold 9900 and installed (7.1.0.861) from DIGICEL GRP with BL Ultimate Hybrid RC13. It works like a charm. I'm not a heavy user and my ADR is 1.9%/hr. Browser is super fast and the device is very responsive.

Thanks BL team for your tireless efforts in creating a hybrid that truly brings the 9900 to its best performance.

Is the BL BBM group still active?

Actually you can use base .865 + 865 sfi for your girlfriend's 9320 with RC13 for .86x sfi.

Sorry, should've mentioned the reason for the .746 sfi is that its proven to be the best one we've tried. Haven't tried the .865 sfi though.

My daughter is asking if I can hyrbid her 9320, handy to know thanks - she's currently on stock os that came with it and hasn't had any real problems but bet hybrid makes it fly!

Assuming it will enable custom led as that's not in the stock os on it

Tempted to update my bold9900 currently on rc11 (I think) been on at least 6 weeks and just works like it should think I had 861 sfi seems good so stayed happy, had one super hot problem which I think was imo.im
