I've been using 11B for roughly 3 days now. My usage is probably a lot more extreme during the work week. If I use it at a moderate level, I find that it still does the darn job!
At the end of the day it is all on usage and HOW you use your device. There will be a lot of #'s being thrown out, but I think it is around 3.5% on medium usage. Heavy it is at close to 8. When bridged it is obviously higher lol

i have downloaded the RC11B, i think there's a problem on the blackberry messenger.alx it is missing some lines because when i tried to reload it blackberry messenger is missing on the apps,, do i need to edit it and add Davis for my 9220 or leave it as is?
Something is also wrong with my Blackberry Messenger after installing RC11. The blackberry messenger shows on the loader option to install but when its done, it doesn't show on the phone. Even tried downloading a fresh one & it won't restore my bbm. I had to switch back to Stock to get it to work. I've been up all night. This isn't anywhere nice. #sick

for those who have problem with blackberry messenger on rc11....
I noticed that on rc11, the "blackberrymessenger.alx" file has a space and is like that "blackberry messenger" which shouldnt compared to other deafult os blackberrymessenger files.
so when trying to copy and paste to of folder, it doesnt ask you to replace cause the correct alx file is without a space.
just rename and delete the space and then copy paste the file and replace. then should work
I copied the Blackberry Messenger.alx (without the space in the filename) file from RC11B to the main .825 OS directory and when I went to load the software I am getting two Blackberry Messenger entries in Apploader and they're both different file sizes? Which one am I supposed to use?
i haven't posted much myself either, still using these hybrids, am in the tester group! so i load from there really.. anyway, also on RCB11 with .825 base+sfi and shrunk. i tell you what thought sick of BBSAK taking the mickey when i try to wipe so! i ended up using vnbb thingie. what does everyone else use?
Running very well 24 hours in, but the .825 .sfi runs way to hot for my liking.
Will RC11 run OK with .714 .sfi ???
Ria, I use BBSAK to wipe and it works fine for me.
sator says just use what SFI you feel comfortable using. although on Orange/EE UK it's reported to be running fine.. i'm still settling so too early to tell.
well BBSAK doesn't work too well for me 'cause i have to end BBDevMgr in the processes window alll the time as it never stays off so i can't complete my task. anyone know how to tackle that?

With BBSAK I always click the button marked "end processes" before I use which I think kills of any other BB things that are running on your PC. Maybe give it a try ?
Regardin the .sfi Ians instructions seemed to be quite definite to use .825 base and .sfi so that's what I did.
May re load with .714 is Sator says it's OK to do so.
Hey Guys,I'd like to migrate from RC10 to 11....what base do you suggest? What SFI?
I am currently use the fat sfi(714),but I am experiencing memory leak problems...
And please tell me what to shrink? Can i have a link for RC 11 please
A day so far with the RC11 on .825, and so far i can say its running cooler than the .794 with RC10 i had before.
As for battery, im just gonna give it time to settle in, it gives an average of 9%/hour with only medium usage so im guessing it needs time.
Everything else working pretty fine Feels smooth and runs great.
While waiting for RC11B1 to drop I did experiment with running BL Xmas Edition with 825 base/Sfi, and then with 825 base/714 Sfi. I definitely had cooler temperatures using the 714 Sfi. I too hope we can use it with RC11B1.
someone provide the link for 825 sfi also? it would be a great help, thanks
Just get the base OS (bold 9900 only) and apply the RC11 to it, then tweak with it to your heart's content
According to most people though, the .714 runs coolest.. As for the .825 still giving it time to settle in

If I may ask one noob question-is there any connection between SFI and memmory leaks?
