BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices
- Actually we can use 714,746 or 794 sfi, based on my test I found out that 794 sfi ran the best performance with RC10A1, it's better than .714, I also hate to leave 714 sfi behind. However you can try 794 or 714 SFI's and stick with the one that works best for you Legal.

What do you make of the battery temp readings ? To me it sure doesn't feel as though it is running as hot as is being indicated.
I will stick with full .794 for now and see how my signal is.12-20-12 10:25 AMLike 0 - Second day with RC10 using .746 base and .714 sfi No problems with install, running, as usual, smooth and fast. Temp in the high teens and low 20's, mem loss minimal, and battery drain avg %2, with Meterberry, depending on what Im doing! Or % 1.27 with BDALegal Eagle likes this.12-20-12 10:37 AMLike 1
- Thanks Sator, so were the problems that @ Audio was having with the .794/.714 combo just a one off ?

1. Best GPS lock so far
2. Best Wifi Lock so far
3. Heavy Whatsapp, Medium Inbound Emails, Many battery pulls , Medium Google Maps usage , and Have 37% battery left, Battery is better than my prev combo.
So far temp fluctuations between the combos are distinct, but not noticeable to me
Although i can see there is some discussion here about issues, I can say I havent experienced any so far, but im on edge all the time and not tested with 3g yet. I will be on 3g in coming weeks time, Until now I am going to stick with current combo for a longer time , From my previous experience, I think its takes more than a week for everything to settle in, but that just my opinion.
Hats off the ultimate team whoever was directly or indirectly involved with them, and thanks to the everyone here for their input.12-20-12 01:35 PMLike 0 - 12 Hours In

Wonder if it is giving a false reading as this ain't no palm burner like some have been in the past.
Will go back to .714 if more people report that that RC10 is running fine for them, so far it is Bold Always with a yes and Audio with a big fat NO.12-20-12 02:29 PMLike 0 -

From post number #227 , Berrylicious Returns Thread.12-20-12 10:41 PMLike 0 - to me also, 746 base and .714 large sfi on 9860, it's second day, performing better. Temp is around 15-22 degree and BDR is approx 3-4%. But, for 9860, we don't have any oother option but to use .746 as base.
12-21-12 01:23 AMLike 0 - Decided to try Rc10 and I have mixed feelings. For one, the .794 OS for 9810 for me is the hottest of all OS. I decided to go with full .794. Initial boot was just maybe a minute faster than usual. Everything was smooth and fast, temps get to 40degrees celcius and above when in use. However with .714, 30 degrees i could feel the phone is hot. with .794 at 30degrees its cool and gets warmer as temps go up. So i reckon maybe with .794 the threshold of heat is higher than in say .714. SFI wise they both very good. the only difference is .794 is smoother and faster compared to .714.
I had issues with facebook refusing to login but that is sorted now. Everything else looks fine and the OS is very responsive, installing apps was a breeze, only thing i'm keeping my eye out on is temps but most importantly battery. Otherwise super fine hybrid. anyone help me
I did not understand what the meaning of this part
Notes!
For users who already has 746 on their devices please use the ALX from those devices.
Those still running .649 or .714
Open platform alx with notepad.
Add this extra line anywhere the rest of the cods are listed.
net_rim_bb_phone_qchatptt_resources.cod
net_rim_bb_virtual_keyboard_layout480x640
If you do not do this, your phone won't load.
I just install the 796base, and copy the rc10 on the related folder, then loader, but after all, the error 200 appeared on my phone, can you tell what should i do next time, thanksLast edited by piziyu2005; 12-21-12 at 03:54 AM.
12-21-12 02:57 AMLike 0 - RC10 over .794
Looking good so far after 20 hours after install.
Overnight idle on 3G only was 0.4% and memory loss over 12 hours since last battery pull 0.1 mb
Just need to see how the .794 performs signal wise compared to .714 when I am out and about today.

Here in the UK you can get a 64 gig Playbook for 129.00 complete with leather case. Sounds like one heck of a bargain. Will probably treat myself in the post Christmas sale when it may be even cheaper.12-21-12 03:27 AMLike 0 - Hi

You have to reload the OS, if you are using 9900, install base .794, copy and paste the Java Hybrid folder and the Blackberry Messenger Alx. file into your OS folder, shrink it and you're ready to go

Runs 5-6% hotter than .714 but having said that the phone does not feel hot to the touch.
I used full .794 after @ Audio reported problems with the .714 .sfi just prior to my install, but since then Sator has suggested that Audio probably had a bad load and that .714 should work OK.speakeasytelecom likes this.12-21-12 06:57 AMLike 1 - yes
