- Been a little over 5 days [maybe 7] with RC9A1... This mix is like from the hands of god lol browser is PHENOMENAL, exceptionally responsive, zero to very minimal MDR. These guys keep one upping themselves. As with any fresh install you'll get the spinning clock, but it goes away after a short while. 7.1.0.807 has found its way into the hands of the masters, only time will tell when the next brew is released, and I am definitely looking forward to it!!
Keep up the good work team!!!Mi.key and falena1122 like this.12-09-12 06:58 PMLike 2 -

- is this for only .746 base or can we use .714 base as well. I tried it last night however it was .746 base + 658 sfi and RC9. At first all was well, abit warm but actually not bad, then I had hectic issues to such an extent i lost all signal. I then reverted to rc7b1 with 714 base+sfi and alas network issues there too. It was way too late so I tried to sort out or set up the little i could and wentto sleep, this morning I had 3G so i'm assuming my network was to blame last nite and so I want to try rc9 again today. Just so oI can say i have the latest and the baddest(yes thats a word now)
Do i need to add that familiar qcht ptt line to usde .714 base or is this strictly .746 and above? Mind you us torch users only have .746 as the highest OS out for our phones.12-10-12 03:06 AMLike 0 - is this for only .746 base or can we use .714 base as well. - Just to be sure, do a wipe before you re install, it seems to work wonders.
I didn't use to bother but had a bad install myself way back in RC6 days and was advised to wipe and reinstal, did so and all was well.
Now I do a wipe as a matter of course before any new install and haven't had any problems since.12-10-12 11:20 AMLike 0 - Sorry for the newbie question. I installed Berrylicio's hybrid OS a while ago, I think it was RC1 or RC2, I can't remember. My base OS is still the one I used for that release, which is the .569. Now my question is, can I install the RC9 without installing previous releases first? I'm downloading OS .794 right now, and I wonder if I can just use that OS as the base? I never downloaded and installed .714 or .746. I'm asking because in the instruction page, it says to add some lines to the alx or the phone won't load. Now I'm really confused. When I first installed the hybrid OS, it was pretty straightforward. Is it still the same procedure, or are there additional steps required to install the RC9?
