I think it may be the release of Returns V2 that is taking the teams time up.
With RC8 i am pretty much Satisfied as far as performance is concerned. They can take their own sweet time to develop the new Returns OS, we are in no hurry !
I also wonder, what on Earth could they improve with the next one ???? Then Eat the humble pie
Having said that when a new Release comes................we all are terribly short of Willpower, lol
And from what I read doesn't have the features that .742 does, so probably an older build that has been around in carrier testing for a while.
I read the reviews and it says it does not have LED indicators for sure and not very encouraging reports overall, but early days i guess !
As far as .746 more and more carriers are releasing it !
Hope there is a new one around the corner for the 9900.......We always want the next one
@ Sator, i did inject the email patch that you had posted yeterday but i see no change in the behaviour while opening emails post 3 battery pulls.
Any suggestions to make it work more efficiently ? Or do i reload ? Please suggest !
Hello guys, newbie here and very happy to have found this hybrid thread. I have installed 746 on my 9900 but I have some serious problems and would like to try this hybrid. Can somebody please walk me through this? I have downloaded the RC8a and thats pretty much all that I have done. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I followed your directions and I have a question. The Java folder that is in the RC8a folder, do i completely replace the Java folder in my OS folder with that? Or do i copy and paste the actual files and leave everything else that is in the Java OS folder? I know this is a stupid question but this is my first time doing anything like that and I do not want to make a big mess. Thanks.
Copy and paste, replace all then shrink or not up to you.

im using 9810.
what i did different i use a different sfi. download .746 and replace the sfi using .714.
i was able to get rid of the error after doing another wipe using bbsak.
i'll just use the .746 sfi. dont know how to install using a different sfi.
Hi guys.
So I installed the latest RC8, replaced the alx files, shrunk the OS, wiped my device and reinstalled. When the installation completes and the phone reboots, it stops when the loading bar is full and just hangs there.
Anyone experienced this before?
You need to install 746 as base and use the same alx.
You're missing the qchatptt.cod that is not loaded on to the phone using 714 alx.
The alx supplied on post one only good for up to RC7b2.
