I didn't have luck, I set everything up, wiped and reinstalled. Everything went well but phone gets stuck on the very last part, just a milisecond after the blackberry screen. The loading bar would reach the end but the phone will not pass that screen. I took battery out, re-inserted it and it boots up but after reaching the end it dsnt go to the next screen and just freezes there, waited for almost 10mins and no change. Reloaded rc7b2. Good thing I had backed up the original 714 java folder. Ps I tried rc8 with 714 base + sfi for torch 9810, fat voda one.

I got the Rogers .746 my carrier is WIND mobile, and ADR,signal, memory drain have been nothing short of excellent, before .523 was the lil tank that kept going, then I as well as many other gravitated towards the .714 different sizes.

If your main concern with .746 as your ENTIRE base, rest assured it works well, just give it a shot thats's all I can say.
Ahh, ok so you're on WIND. Somehow I thought you were on Rogers, my bad. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback. I'm on the fence still as to whether to test BL7B2 with .746 as BL7B1 with .714 seems to be working well.

You have to use 746 base with .746 or .714 SFI, it didn't boot up since you used 714 base and Alx. Files, you have to use 746 base and Alx. Files so that the qchatptt cod will be installed otherwise it won't boot up

I'm sorry, I've never installed a hybrid OS before - just updating official OS's by removing vendor files.

I'm already running .746, so I'm looking at trying your latest update. What do you mean by "For users who already has 746 on their devices please use the ALX from those devices."?
    What's that mean?

Just use the original 746 Alx. Files, what you should do just copy and paste the Java hybrid and paste to your 746 Java folder, it will overwrite your original 746 cods. Shrink it and install it...

Its been more than 12 hrs on RC8A1, first impression, its result is very similar to return v1. More result after it gets stabilised!

You can use BBHtools to shrink it, just tick/check the apps that you don't want, here is the link: http://www.theiexplorers.com/mobile/

Not sure if it's just me, RC8 when idle it settle at around 1% adr,
however, when moderate to heavy use, it can goes up to 9-10% add

When did you loaded? wich sfi? When im using heavy my bold (really heavy on calls, bbm and mail) it gets to two digits. Never hit 20>25 as some official OSs but it gets high.

Too soon to get conclusions, i believe. Its hard to coment on adr because anyone of us have different ways of using it. And if you use and abuse the adr goes up. I use 3G only and i go from 3 to 14 adr in bbda. On meterberry i usually get about 4>5 adr on a normal day, but, in a insane day it can go up... (But then my pocket gets more money... so Im happy )
