- Sator, after installing RC7B2 on 746 with 714 sfi, customised LED option wasn't available. Is it because of any problem in installation process, normally, it should have been available, if base is used .746?

Will try rc7b2 with .714 base and sfi again, i tried it for a day and although it seemed good, I had just put it in haste to have a working phone. the prev day i had just tried out plain 746 and it was a disaster. i dont remember if it was the temps or what but i removed as quickly as I had put it. Is rc7b2 better than rc7b1? havent read much comparisons on that. esp on torch11-14-12 06:03 AMLike 0

- If you don't have any heating up problem with the .746 SFI large, you can go for that one, but if you have a problem than you can go for the .714 SFI large (Voda UK.)
I use .714 SFI Voda Uk. Since the 746 SFI is a lil bit warmer for my carrier than 714 SFI.

I'm a big fan of the .714 Large .sfi so will run RC8 with that one now that you have given the OK to do so.
Feel far happier with a known good one than trying .746Last edited by Legal Eagle; 11-14-12 at 08:36 AM.
11-14-12 08:13 AMLike 2 - Sorry legal, it was just 2 questions within 5 posts was a bit of a pain
We didnt run the tests with 714 as our priority was to build a good 746 mix.
I would try whatever you are comfortable with.maxx71 and Legal Eagle like this.11-14-12 08:24 AMLike 2 - WOW RC8 out already? I'm getting amazing ADR with BerryLicious Returns 1.0 I don't know if I should even try the alpha, and I haven't said that with any RC build before. I kind of do want to try out the medium .714 SFI though, has anyone tried all three? Small, Medium, and Large .714 .SFI? Which is best for battery life? I'd love to try RC8 along with the medium .SFI, I've tried small and large and the large one is performing better for me in terms of temps and battery life.11-14-12 09:22 AMLike 0
- my complaints brought you gents rc8... the announcement came after my post so appreciate lol, 746 is more than warm for me so will try rc8 with 714 on my torch 9810 tonight and see how that combo fairs. It may be the magic mix that my phone needs. *starts downloading*11-14-12 09:55 AMLike 0
- great to see RC8 is available. Downloading it and going to use on 9860 with 746 base and .714sfi (large) and see what way it is improved over RC7B2.
11-14-12 10:47 AMLike 0 - Up and running on RC8A1
.742 base with "fat" .714 .sfi.
Will report performance etc in due course, back to battery pulls for teh next 2 days !!!11-14-12 11:39 AMLike 0
