Then, youre not a OS junkie then. Only a hybrid junkie! i atleast have to try the official OS from RIM just so i can compare it to/with Hybrids. Thats the function of me using the stock os. But sometimes, i manage to swap around the radio file. Just that. Or else, the OS that im using is PURE. If you're always on Hybrids, you cant even feel/see how the improvement on one or the next BL or Hybrids because hybrid will clearly gives you 'almost' the same results. Maybe a few tweaks here on adr, there on mdr, temperature wise, battery life statistics. Correct me if im wrong
Youre not wrong, just that i have a different opinion. I do not like to waste time trying something that will give me, for sure, worst results then the one i have. So, i do not waste time loading OS from rim, pure or with java swap, or sfi swap.
I just wait for the team to work their magic and then i know that i will have the build improved.

I'm with Bold Always on this one.
Why take a step back to install an official OS when you just know from experience that it will not perform as well as a BL Hybrid.
Surely the whole point is to have the best avaibale OS on your phone, and no official OS will ever be that !!!
Also RC8 will be letting the handset users that dont have 746 released use the new version of maps and coloure LED`s as well
Ohh nifty! I've been using 746 for a few days, and didn't see that maps had changed! It's a bit better, but I was hoping there for a minute that they had integrated BB Traffic into BB Maps. No such luck.

Integrating BB Traffic into BB Maps would've been nice!
