To me the same, it's third day on RC7B1. started getting ADR something like 1.5% in light usage of some emails and socialscope tweets.

Yes, the Multilang .714 is the smaller SFI.

ok i tried the solution provided to me, with no results...

the only way I was able to install rc7b1 is this one:
-install rc6b1 as usual (wipe, etc...)
-update java files with rc7b1 ones in the java folder
-update my previous install (no wipe) with those new files...

    and that's ok...
weird no? just hope I will see the benefits of the new release ...

    thx by the way!

ok, so why are you installing RC6 B1 then overwriting with RC7 B1 files??

The correct install is fresh 714 base, Java files from the RC7 B1 archive copied over the
    top of the OS directory.

    Backup Handset,

    Wipe Handset,

    Run Loader.exe

    Restore data

Sorted and running like a dream after a couple of days settling in time.

If you are having issues you may just need to push more font files, this wont effect the hybrids performance.

What is stored in SFI files? Is it the base (core) OS? Just radio files?

It contains OS and DSPOS firmware.

OS firmware contain system kernel and Java Machine. DSPOS is probably a system partition image.

    Luck shouldn't enter into it.

From the results the RC7 B1 build is giving much lower ADR results for me here in the UK.

Also the radio is running a lot better.

7.1.0.714 is available from multiple venders in official release, I would forget about the leaked one and use an
official with the multi language pack.

I find that on Voda UK the .658 .sfi gives me better results than .714

Sticking with RC6B2 for now, best OS I have ever had loaded on my 9900

Been running it for nearly a week now and will give a another week at least before trying RC7B1

In a way it's actually nice that nothing new has leaked so that we can enjoy a week or two with the same OS and get to really appreciate it.

Oh, quick question, do you have wifi on when you get your super the sub 1% ADR or just mobile network? Is the consensus that we should use wifi when available or rather just stick with mobile network form a ADR perspective not speed or monthly allowance perspective...

think i am going to hit up RC7b1 tonight...

thanks BL team - enjoying your hybrids

It is now day four and ADR is 5.5% (usually idle). First day it was 43.9% then later 23.5%, both when idle. Is this good?

My Router is set to sleep overnight, so over the 48 hours I was getting the 0.6% ADR it was a combination of 3G only and 3G with Wifi. I also spent a few hours in the Pub over the weekend with no WiFi available.

If you are talking about light useage/idle then IMO it is a quite high figure.

People such as Maxx seem to get the same sort of figure you are getting (5.5%) when they are really hammering the phone.

On idle/light use I regularly get under 1% ADR.
