Sator, it hasn't worked. After deleting service book2 (internet browser) and soft resetting, still internet is not working. It's night here, I am going to bed. if it doesn't work in the morning, I will have to reinstall RC7A1.

I didn't look as closely at the graph before, but what I find most interesting is that the OS seems to still be settling and improving even on day 4, so beyond the first 48/72 hour period.

Do another softreset and check again your service book, if the browser 2 still there, delete it again and usually this time your internet browser will work.

If a soft reset send your service book from your BIS page. If you don't have access to it call your carrier and they will be able to do it.

    Rebuild is not required.

1.6 ADR is terrific. Sounds like it's installed properly and settled in well.
Well, i give a shot for RC7B1 few hours ago. Will see how it goes.

I'm not part of Berrylicious team but what exactly did you do to install? I'm sure they will want to know what 9360 OS you installed it over.
I'm curious if it was ever tested with 9360.

Here's my results to-date. Installed RC 7A1/.714 sfi about 40 hours ago. All is going well, except that I can't bridge to my playbook. As I do that only occasionally, I'm sticking with this build for now. Yes, I've uninstalled/reinstalled bridge, deleted/re-added connections with the appropriate battery pulls & PB re-starts. The wipe/reinstall went like clockwork, so I don't think I had any installation issues. No dice.

Finding this build very responsive, temp has gone up only slightly since install, hovering around 23. ADR is 1.3% per Meterberry, but 3.43% per BBDA. ~ecm
Just reporting back... Stll on RC7A1/.714sfi. I love this build. It's the smoothest my device has ever been. I haven't seen my old buddy the "hourglass" since the settling-in period. ADR has been hovering in the 2's -- but I run with Bluetooth on most of the time. I think that's a great ADR, considering. ~ecm

Loading up RC7B1 right as we speak, device is being wiped, just shrunk it to like 77.28MB Will be back with some results for you guys, and some real concrete conclusions after a week [7 days] I always give it about 5 days to settle with the battery pulls throughout the day, but that's just me though.

    UPDATE

Just loaded RC7B1 and I've began to beat the h3ll out of it. I'm getting that clock, but I can deal with it as it settles for the next few days. Other than that its smooth so far, MINIMAL lag if it does. I cant wait to see how it is once it settles in!

I installed using apploader. But when I restore through DM, it offered me a bundle upgrade. Should I proceed or ignore? Thank you.

Ok folk, the wait is indeed over,

the New OS java release only is on the 1st post of the thread, and now in my post here

Berrylicious Ultimate RC7 Beta 1 Java Only

Copy and paste to a FRESH .714 install.

You can use either 658 or 714 as sfi and use the alx from post 1 to get rid of duplicates

It is now almost one day with RC7B1 on 9860 with base .714 and sfi .714 (small). Had some initial glitches like internet browser not working on EDGE/3G, this build is much faster, smoother than RC7A1. it's really to experience new issues everytime whenever new build has to be to installed. One thing I have found here, BL team has been great in advicing instantly and that gives you confidence that things would be good. I was scared y'day when I noticed, internet wasn't working after installing 7B1 but Sator kept on insisting to wait to settle it and it has worked. I was almost decided to go back 7A1 but then thought lets wait till overnight.
Thanks again to BL team Sator, Zocs and ifraser for providing us new learnings daily!

RC6 up is ok to go with 649 base but use 580 sfi me thinks.

If u look at my graphs since I started testing it gives u an idea of the settling. It got better each day.

Make sure u do the battery pull schedule over the 1st couple of days.

We decided on a jave only release this time since most handsets have official 714 released.

It allows you to shrink out whatever you want before install.
