So following the battery pull schedule, "after every 6 hours a battery pull to bed the software nicely". If I use meter berry to reset my BB would that be equivalent to a battery pull. Or to bed the software, hard reboot is must?

Hard reboot is required, a physical pull.

Do you have Advance OS & LED installed ?

I'm beginning to think that it may be causing my high idle rate issue.

Im on Tinymeter now. All day using 2G only and i unplugged my phone from my wall charger at 11am, tiny meter shows average ADR at -4.49% but my battery now is 89% and already 5pm here! High ADR but superb battery life is pretty cool

11% loss over 6 hours should be 1.8% which is pretty good I would have thought.

RC7A1 is very solid and its my 3rd day on 9860. I have noticed in RC7A1, all cods have been modified with date Sep 30, 2012. what I use to do in previous builds till RC5 or even RC6, I use to replace only previous released cods and retaining the current OS intact with the understanding that cods meant for specific devices may perform much better. for example, I am using Official OS 714 as base and sfi for 9860 so I would like not to replace cods of 714 with RC7A1 of same build ie 714. Would that build not have been better than this one? Ofcourse, this hybrid has been developed by taking all cods from OSs meant for 9900, so it would perform the best in comparison to other devices.

Yes, Ifraser modified all the cods date to protect our hard work, just to make it harder for some one who wants to copy our BL builds. It's for our security reasons only. All the cods were taken from base 9900 and there is no different between base 9900 with others (9810, 9860, 9360. 9320 etc.) as long as they have the same base. RC7A1 is a lil bit complicated bulid, so I don't recommend you to modify the cods, it may end up with bricking your device.

Sator, thanks. My quiery was, if I would have copied and replaced only cods other than .714 from RC7A1, whther performance would have been little more since I would have retained original cods of .714 java folder. My second question, if all cods would have taken from 9860 based OS, would performance been better?

Nope, you'll have the same performance. like I said earlier they all are the same cods, wether they are from base 9900 or 9860.

I had it BUT deleted it after it was giving me a higher ADR. Have reverted to the Apps that it had replaced and this are my results.

    @ Sator & Ian :

Indeed, the RC-7 Alpha 1 is stupendously good with 714

But so was RC-6 beta 2 with 658 BUT the 714 is much more snappy, top-class browsing & overall smoothness. Never any hour-glassing !!

    Excellent jobs you guys !!

@audio, RC6 never reached Beta 2 as its on test now.

After less than 2 hours its settled to 3% using 3G.

Its browser is fast. App loading is good. Just another couple of days to make sure its not got any major slaws and it will be ready to go.

I notice when I use RC7a1 and insatll the official 9810 from Telecom Serbia vs the leak 7.1.0.714 im getting high ADR 3-6% at idle and temp is between 26-30 celcius whereas if im using leak ADG get steady on 2% and temp is 19-22 celcius. Did anyone has the same result? what OS 7.1.0.714 did you use leak or official?

    many thanks..
