Patient is a virtue i bet iFraser will release it once Zocs and the team confirmed that the v2 is qualified and so cant say much, but the temperature is definetely lower than .714 as for me
That's very good news for me

694 at&t V2 is smoother and the temp a lil bit lower than V1, it's typical of "classic Hybrid"...

I use this app frequently and have no errors upon boot up or during use with RC7A1 but I always do a full wipe and reload everything one by one.
That is something i did too. Everytime i Load a new OS, i will install my Apps ONE by ONE. It is absolutely better without any corrupted file nor errors hassle free for me and really worth it later on
I did a wipe as well when I went from the special AT&T version to RC7A1

    Hi,

I downloaded OS 7.1.0.523 for BlackBerry Curve 9320 from TrueMove-H. After removing the vendor.xml files ( using the program vendelete and manual checking afterwards ). Then I put the contents of "BL7.1.zip" and "KHBLv2.rar" (hybrid os - BerryLicio -) into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9320Asia_v7.1.0.569_P9.49.0.53\Java".

Than wiped the device using JL_Cmder. However when installed, I see 7.1 Bundle (v7.1.0.580 Platform 9.49.0.53) at the "About Device versions".

I expected to see v7.1.0.569. What did I do wrong?

ot very tough, i will try to explain step by step below:
copy the RC2 on the computer> then install .569 os > remove the vendor file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files , On most 64-bit Windows machines, the BlackBerry OS files are installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files

once vendor file is removed>restart computer> copy the rc2 file which you initially downloaded>paste it in the java files located in the shared folder, ,remember to paste it and it will prompt to replace files only replace all cod files there and you are good to go> then plug your device with DM and it will prompt an update and then you know the drill.

This was in one of the forum.

So I just download .714 and the RC7A1 thingy and follow the steps above and I'm good?

    step by step:

install a .714 officail OS, which we call as base
download RC7a1 from the first page of this thread
remove the vendor file from base OS
copy and replace Java of the official OS with the ones in RC7a1
shrink to your choice with BBhtools
Load via DM or app loader

Any further questions, please ask !

Shrinking the OS is purely your choice once you copy and replace in the Java folder.

You also need to follow the bedding schedule for the OS:
one battery pull post reinstall of your apps
Then one battery pull before going to bed and charge overnight
Next 2days 2 battery pulls each day with a gap of 6 hours between them.

Don't forget to back up your device before install.

    All the Best !
