714 is a great radio but we are very quickly developing this OS beyond its capabilities.
Look out for the new ATT v2 for 694 appearing today also.
And as for the OS names, we have stuck with the Alpha/Beta layout as new radio files appear, the Beta`s tend to be the more developed due to the radios appearing.
The other thread also has a special edition for ATT users, which will work on any network also.Last edited by ifraser; 10-04-12 at 03:21 AM.

- I would tend to agree with sticking to the full OS until a new sfi appears,

I am not satisfied with .694. I tried twice but had to come back to .714. Battery heatup is the main reason and signal strength is also not good as of .714.10-04-12 04:09 AMLike 0 - Another question from BL expert team, generally smaller sfi file OS use to be more stable and signal locking better. We have seen in case of .523 OS there was smaller (66mb) and larger (72mb) sfi files and we all had prefered smaller one. I have noticed leaked 714 has sfi file approx 71mb. does the same situation apply here also. Now, official OS has been out for .714, does it has smaller sfi?10-04-12 04:50 AMLike 0

- The OS generally governs by the code
Anything with a j it is a larger one.

Charged this morning, went from 100%-80% in an hour on 2-3 texts & 2-3 emails . Just now I updated an app and it asked to restart so I did it, now battery is back at 95%....guessing its still settling
on another occasion it was at 100% off charger, suddenly dropped to 5% and sat at 5% with 0 ADR for 10 hours. a reboot fixed this...
seems to me some strange battery things going on here...10-04-12 05:50 AMLike 0 - So it's been a few days now and here's where I'm at.
ADR = 3.4%/hr
I've been listening to iHeart radio and MLB@Bat while on battery. This along with regular phone, SMS and email usage.
I find the handoff to/from cell and WiFi is much better. Not having to pull battery.
I still have some apps that cause an Uncaught Exception error.
7digital Music Store v1.5.37 9/8/2009
Call Blocker Professional v5.25 9/10/2009
GasBuddy v2.6.3 5/10/2011
QuickLaunch v4.2 3/12/2009
Volume Scheduler v4.6.2 6/10/201110-04-12 05:55 AMLike 0 - So it's been a few days now and here's where I'm at.

You could overwrite a full Base OS then dont shrink too much out.
Then the apps should have the full lot of files to run.10-04-12 05:58 AMLike 0 - That is something i did too. Everytime i Load a new OS, i will install my Apps ONE by ONE. It is absolutely better without any corrupted file nor errors hassle free for me and really worth it later on10-04-12 07:00 AMLike 0

Sent from my BlackBerry 9900 using TapatalkSlayohslay and maxx71 like this.10-04-12 07:21 AMLike 2 - Patient is a virtue i bet iFraser will release it once Zocs and the team confirmed that the v2 is qualified and so cant say much, but the temperature is definetely lower than .714 as for me10-04-12 07:22 AMLike 2

694 at&t V2 is smoother and the temp a lil bit lower than V1, it's typical of "classic Hybrid"...
Sent from my BlackBerry 9900 using Tapatalkmaxx71 and hamsterwheel like this.10-04-12 07:29 AMLike 2 - Indeed it is. Thats the way i like it. V1 gives me good battery life and the temperature is pretty good too. V2 clearly is better than V1 so, be patient fellow BL consumers!10-04-12 07:33 AMLike 3
