Don't know how many of you have this issue or is it just me:

In the call log screen below 'Find contact or dial the number' in between where the number and info of the last caller is, there is white or blank space but when you exit and re enter the gap dissapers. Sometimes if you scroll down the call list and exit and then re-enter the gap pops up again.

This issue is non existant in the AT&T special edition but was there in all builds since the .391.

Has anyone noticed or is it just me !

*edit ; i have noticed this on 9900 and 9790 only not sure about the other devices though.
That used to happen to me on the last official OS I used [7.1.0.523] I just scrolled to get rid of the white bar there. It didn't really bug me, it was more of a wtf moment lol

If you work it out though, your phone draining at 3% per hour would still give you 33 hours of battery life (if only)
Ifraser, whats up with that? Would you know why the battery reader is sooo off? Is this a Blackberry thing in general?

    Results here showing P U R E .. C L A S S of this MIX ... i.e. (RC-6b-1 with 658 os & sfi) after attaining a week's full maturity upon install.

ideal ADR & super cool battery temp (even in the hot tropical 27-28 deg C sub-continent environment)

ADR is with NO voicecalls, only BBM & browsing using 3G network along with use of some few Apps.

hats off to zocs / ian / sator - for once again making mince meat of RIM ..

Seriously i dont know how did you get those ADR and MDR with only 3G and always on bbm like you said. I never had that ADR if im on 3G only. Even on 2G only, I hardly can get those kind of ADR eventho when my bb is idle-ing. Sucks to be me, I know.

what do you guys do with your connections cause like for me, i put my network on (presuming thats2g/ 3g?) and whenever i put wifi on (is that uma?) with 3g on too, that proper wastes my battery. so i only use 3g + wifi when i am downloading stuff at home and that's not often cause am always on my laptop.. so when you's say you dont use 3g is that you putting 'only mobile network' preferred?
Unless you see the UMA symbol its not on UMA and with my 9900 and a few others in my neighbourhood I find we have to play with the mobile network radio on/off to get the phone to sometimes switch to UMA. i can turn my mobile network off most times but not all the time.

Once you get ti to stick to UMA then you can turn the network off but dont be surprised if the phone decides to just stay connected to BIS and wifi and not the carrier.

For me the AT&T build is working best

    slay - stop whining !!

java based stuff hugely benefit from repeated batt pulls carried out systematically to set in the os well. There's a whole lot of PPL on this Forum who would say 'bull' - but ask zocs or legal or Ian and they'll tell ya.

Moreover, I've personally worked my @$$ off with Vodafone network guys to fix their 3G parameters such that I get extremely good response from their 3G network. Its been months of chasing these dudes but in the end, they've managed to pull it off.

Its been the last 2 odd months ever since that my 3G ADRs are infact better than 2G (EDGE). And to ADD to this, its just that 523 and 658 sfi really likes my network and work hand-in-hand, along with brilliant mixes from the BL Team to complement the whole thing.

My all out 9900 with calls, bbm, emails browsing, apps ADR is abt 6%.

Yeah, much as I am loving the performance of the Special Edition speed and battery wise, I'm itching to get back to the .658 .sfi which was giving me a better signal and running much cooler.

    Bring on RC7 !!!
