T Hi, which hyrbid would you recommend for Curve 9360? Wouldn't say mine is overheating but the ADR is kinda high. It does overheat once in a while/after I've loaded a new OS. I was about to install RC6B1 then I read "Sator's" response about the 9350.

For curve 9360, I recommend you BL 694 at&t....it works great on 9360

For this lot, I suggest 658 sfi with RC6B1. 714 runs OK, but if you can get 658 stick with it. It is on par with 523, when it comes to temp coolness etc.

On my 9860, would you recommend .649 and RC5B2 or .714 and RC6B1 for cooler temps and lower ADR? Or any other combo?

Both RC6B1 and 694 at&t have great ADR and good temps, if you use RC6B1 with .741 SFI the temp is lil bit warmer, I think it's up to your personal like, I personally installed 694 at&t on my son's 9860, I like the speed of 694...

Yes, the RC6 B1 mix would work ok with your 9930, just install the latest
OS 7.1.0.649 and then copy the Hybrid java files over the java directory.

As you are using the full OS it wouldnt hurt to then re-shrink before install.

Hey audio_engr, is that ADR while mostly idling?!?! Or with average usage? The more mine settles (day 5-6 now) the more its becoming like a regular OS (BDR is averaging ~3.XX).

    I'm on 523 with RC5B1 shrunk to ~88mb...

Thanks BL team for the hybrid os.
Have been very happy with the results.

Just wondering if anyone has chinese simplified cod for 9900? I loaded the RC6 preshrunk; to experiece full hybrid I cleared the loader file and paste over full hybrid os but my phone now has can't view chinese online

I bet its on its idle-ing time. There is no way you can get that ADR on light, normal usage. Maybe very light usage can get you those ADR, not sure. Never had on me tho. you can simply get lower than that when you're in idle-ing mode

I hate to say it but Zocster currently has similar ADR and he is a very high user.

    Thats on a 9320 running RC6 alpha

Fascinating! Never had those ADR as long as i can remember holding a Blackberry lol! I had, sometimes those ADR, even lower sometimes only when idle-ing regardless my Bold, Curve series BB

I have had a couple of Hybrids that have been that low but it does take the settling period to show the true value of the OS.

That would be great but no, we tend to test the hybrids on both 3G and UMA different times because, as you say, UMA does save battery, I have had much lower ADR on the days that I was on UMA.

Hopefully the 2 current hybrids should settle to these sort of levels.

For that ADR, there were :

    1. No voice-calls
    2. High DATA usage - i.e. constant BBM'ing for almost 2 hrs + 15 odd mins of Browsing
    3. 9 incoming emails, 5 outgoing emails
    4. No WiFi usage, ONLY Network on 3G

so, fellas - it ain't idling BUT is the good work of zocs / Ian / Sator !!!
BL-Team rocks dudes all the way ... i gotta tell ya.

yup - I follow zocs rulez by the T ... every 5-6 hrs, a batt pull. Am actually surprised how quickly it settled in

We all have different usage and even the batteries will have difference drain characteristics, I hope the Hybrid is still bringing you good results, if not as good as some people are seeing.

Keep on it and you will always be impressed we hope.

Well have went back to a hybrid, RC6B1 with .658 sfi Although the leaked .714 wasnt a bad OS I just feel the RC6B1 is smoother and faster. Just hope the battery and memory drain is as good as it was on the RC5
