So which .sfi will the next release be fine tuned to work with ?



.658 or .694 ?

We have both SFI, now 694 is being tested. I'm still finalizing for 658, maybe it'll be ready for the test within the next 24 hours....

I see you guys posting the woes of ATT 649. Thankfully caught that before loading RC4 using 649.
am I correct that at the moment I can't use any of BL's hybrids until he and his team come up with one specifically for ATT users?

Please don't install any BL hybrids with 694 sfi, it won't work, 694 sfi is pretty old so I had to make a specific hybrid for 694. Now is being tested by the team and so far it's very fast.

We'll wait for Zocster and Ifraser decision about 694...

Good to hear.

.658 is sounding very promising out of the box so with a bit of BL magic it could well be spectacular.

hey guys,
i upgraded to the 7.1.0.569 hybrid version...but im facing issues with the wifi!
it connects to the wifi at my place and has a very poor signal:confused,keeps disconnectiong....doesn't let me use app world or download any app...disconnects before installation complete....

also my battery charges to a max of 95% even though it says charging complete...is dat normal...

That's interesting. I was having that problem before I began using the BL Hybrid, ever since my WiFi connection has been solid.

oppsss!!! I am allergic to 694 as I recall Phill screaming that barge pole thingee - hehe !!!

This was partially because I was also saying the same thing, it is full of older cods, but we have put some nice touches into it

WiFi issues: we have been testing the Hybrid on different networks and in different countries, none of our testers are having connection issues,

If this is happening all we can suggest is do a Backup, full wipe using one of the available tools, then install the Hybrid per the instructions, this should save any hastles and issues.

that's funnily contradicting YET amazing ... ... bcoz Sator had kinda concluded that 658 sfi seemed to have worked well on the lines of 523 if not better ...

and now, we see inputs from you on the 694 and the good words ...

i can seem to add another email account on my blackberry. im using .523 with RC6A. I tried deleting my service books as well as battery pull. anyone know how i can solve this without installing hybrid again?

Some people were having issues with the email account app, we have an installer for an older version, if it isnt on the first page I am sure zoc might have a link for it.

is this issue to do with RC6A? can i just switch to the legendary RC5B-2 instead of the RC6A to get email setup working?

now, it seems .714 is being out for most of devices and it is quite stable. It's my 3rd day using .714 on 9860, quite satisfied. Battery drain is 1-4%, signal is locking well. I have noticed this has larger (72mb) .sfi while .694 has smaller (66mb). I don't know, how BL team would look into it since BL team has been recommending smaller sfi compare to larger one.

Both 658 n 694 sfi are good in signal locking/strenght, but both a lil sensitive to signal changes (easily drop to 1-2 bars), the problem starts when we are on the move. The good news is both of our BL new builds have over come that problems...
