Ran well off the bat & didn't get the quirky connection error within device analyser (which I told you about last time).

Running RC6A over 569 (including 569 sfi). On first full day, less than 24 hours.

    - ADR (device analyser) 4.64% which is low/normal for me on extremely good OS/hybrid (after 48 hours)
    - No lag whatsoever
    - Highest module CPU time:
    -- net_rim_bb_fileindexservice 2.22%
    -- net_rim_bb_appworld 0.86%
    --vvm_bb_9900_rogers_std_prod_os7 0.64%
    --net_rim_bb_ribbon_app 0.57%
    --UberSocial 0.53%
These numbers are all relatively low compared to all OS's I've used in recent memory, except fileindexservice, which always seems high to start.

I never report in this early as I always figure it's way too early to judge an OS, but these numbers are terrific for me. I find it hard to believe that this OS is considered an alpha version. Great stuff!! Thx again!

    > should add > have been getting an echo on calls. This has been true for a lot of OS's recently, with few exceptions. I believe this is network related and not sfi but who knows

Sheldonbk, thanks for your detail review...

Installed .714 on 9860 by shrinking upto 486 files. It is more than 10hrs, working fine. Signals are good locking better. Wait for BL's new hybrid with .714 base.

The hybrid from rc6 is fully functional right..? I notice that it doesn't have bbm and password keeper.. I just need to extract those from base os.

Errrrr, is it me or is the link not working?

And does this mean we're probably not getting 714?

lmoa....call that the developers edition. Ok, both sfi files are there is you want 659 or rename them both if you want to use 523, taking out the .523 bit on that file.

No, not you , i just copied the wrong link, If any of you want the Official OS just head to the carrier download page, it free and look for Telefonica.

Or, just wait till Alpha 2 is Sorted, actually with a new radio file this might even be a beta

Yes this is the link, and yes, the network is in a spanish speaking country so you have to muddle through to download.

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

any of you still on RC5b2, please could you check something for me.

when i have no new notifications at all and i hit the green phone button (its really not green any more) to get to recently dialed list, on top of that list is a notification icon, looks like a new text message icon. go back to home screen nothing...

can any of you confirm this is or is not just related to me?

Thanks also to the BL team - hybrids seem solid!
