Having used the 649 leak twice now i would 100% agree, however I have reloaded RC5 Beta 2 with the .569 radio and no palm burning this time around. We seem to have cracked that issue.

However a new radio file would be nice assuming it is worth using,
agreed... last time I used 649 .sfi with RC5B, totally palm burning.

just finish loading RC5B2 last night with 569, but it seems the signal locking ain't as good as previous RC4and lower... still give it a day or two to settle down.

    1st impression of RC5B2 :
    - faster booting time than RC5B
    - smoother also
    - more responsive and haven't found any lag/freeze till now
    - no BES activation asked at 1st start after updating os (found it in RC4B and RC5B), spite I don't use BES.
    - browser fast (looks like it used sator's patch again I presume).

Browser cods configuration is a lil bit different between 5B and 5B2, both are pretty fast...

A lot of the cods are faster than before but this also makes the devices warmer running if the wrong ones are used.

None of the Apps are up to date either, app world versions are still higher.

test download speed by downloading RC5B2 files using RC5B, it's damn fast.

test browsing site using RC5B2 equal fast with RC5B.

still the signal quality bit downgrade, dunno whether the problem is with the carrier or radio files.

going to thai for the weekend so won't be able to test RC5B3 if it's coming out this weekend. hopefully can test RC5B2 there.

5B2 is supposed to have better signal quality than 5B. Hopefully Zocs and Ifraser will release 5B3 berfore this weekend.....lol. IMO 5B3 is pretty solid and very fast...just watch this thread...

5B2 indeed give me cooler temp than 5B (using 569 sfi) but the signal locking and strength bit weaker then previous RC.

hopefully tonight then (cross my finger), cause tomorrow i'm leaving LoL

Oh I see...RC2 n 3 was made to run with 569 that's why they are good with 569. I used 523 when I made B2 and it's pretty good in signal strenght/locking..., I'm also using 523 for this B3, I fraser is testing this B3 with 569, let's see what Ifraser finds out...

I was using 649 and 569 with RC5 Beta 2 and got good results with both, just a wierd fault with 649

Beta 3 is looking good and I will keep you all informed if it settles well.

First Ill wipe the phone, reinstall .523, then looking up .523 in the computer, exchange java and .alx files (????).... Is that correct ? And what to do next? Please help. The information given are confusing me^^

RC5B2 & .523 not working well for me. In addition to getting the Uncaught Exception error after each battery pull today when I left the house I have no data connection. Voice was working fine.

I'm thinking of trying RC5B2 with .569 and only install the few apps I really use everyday for the time being.

    Thanks Sharma,

Yes if you have a 9900 the Base OS directory can be emptied of all files and the hybrid extracted into it.

This will let you install the hybrid the way it should be.

As for Beta 3, patience is a virtue!!
