Just a very basic question to this group. Whenever, I get email msg of any posting at CB forum, if I reply to that mail, does it go as "replied" and displayed in thread? My experience is I tried to reply some mails but it couldn't get displayed in the thread. So, what's the best way to access CB forum's msg? Is it thru "Tapatalk" and browser only?

It is leaps and bounds better than what RIM has released as far as a 'good' OS goes...that's just me though.

    Zocster and BL Team,

I noticed you guys have the Meterberry and Quicklaunch .alx but do not have the .cods in the java folder.

Just a heads up if anyone is missing Meterberry or Quicklaunch to put the cods from previous hybrids into the java folder.

    Hello
Only now I noticed that in MeterBerry internal memory is shown as 512 and not 768 or the European version this normal? Or maybe my Bols is some defective.

Thanks a lot because I thought something was wrong with my Bold. Today is the soft tosses on 9360 and see how it will work, however, because the 9900 is longer holds the battery, and in 9360 disappeared in sight.

I prefer the latter one - i.e. install base OS > Copy RC-5B[2] over base Java > Copy Zoc's ALX files over Loader ALX > shrink > Load via DM.

simple & everything resumes back exactly as they were incl. BBM Groups.

Some Golden Rules I'd learnt from Phil :
    A) Keep the Radio OFF when about to update OS.
    B) Turn off Internet connection when using DM.
    C) Once over, do a manual Batt Pull.
    D) Switch ON Radio and carry out setup.

Don't know if it is something you guys have aimed for in the build or it was just freak conditions, but when I was out and about last night I was getting a better 3G signal in places where I usually struggle to get more than 2 bars.

Used same .sfi in this build as all previous ones.

Why radio and Wifi off when using DM ?

I have always used DM with radio and WiFi on when doing updates and touch wood never had any issues at all.

Yesterday I loaded RC4 onto my 9790. No ALX file changes and I didn't shrink the os.

The phone feels the same and the boot speed is the same..

Is the increased boot speed down to shrinking the OS ? Is this hybrid ok for the 9790 ?
