BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices
- No you went to the correct place to get it.
Let us know how you get on with the 649 radio as it was really bad with the Leaked OS.
I did a reload again yesterday just to have a play with a few different things for you guys and gals so watch this space and I will let you know if its changed the way the phone handles.
You will enjoy BL5Beta though. Really smooth and brings the phone back to life.

One post OS and apps install.
One before going to bed (that night)

Next 2 days 2 battery pulls (per day) with a gap of 6 hours between them.Last edited by maxx71; 09-12-12 at 05:01 AM.

but if anyone doesn't have problem with the hot, go for it. for me 649 radio gives good locking signal, just can't stand the heat.Last edited by will_chrome; 09-12-12 at 04:29 AM.

- My 4th day with RC5B, using .658 with the .523sfi. Results are excellent. However it would seem what works for one, doesn't always work for another. Finding the right combination can be a tricky process. Different devices, combination of apps, and geographical location. And I'm sure the carriers service books come into play too.
I would advise anyone who is considering using a hybrid to read this thread and take advice from those that know. Personally I have a separate folder for each release, document what what changes I make. Lastly, choose a combination, install and let it settle for several days before making any further changes. We are all striving for perfection, but its not all about having the highest OS number for bragging rights, Its about getting an OS which works best for you, whether that is RC1 or RC5.

I wanted to ask you sth. about your pictures. There one can see your OS - in your case v 7.1.0.658. You said you have installed .658 with .523 sfi. I have installed OS .523 after full wipe and replace the Java Files. When I go to this screen - About Device Versions I see the same as you .658. I have never installed this version. How do you take a different .sfi file?
Thanks.09-12-12 05:18 AMLike 0 -
- Hi! Nice report! Glad to read that. It's my second day using .523 with RC5B and I'm not able to say how good my phone's been working. I'll post more words in a week.
