the RC5B contain 658 files, I don't know if it is better or worth it, you can copy files in 9810/658 java folder and paste it to 9900's java folder then copy paste the RC5B after that
Ok I think I used another radio file and my signal went to sh!t lol. I did myself a favour and copped the full RC5B with browser patch, loading 'er up now as I type. Here's a screen shot of how I shrunk the hybrid, enjoy lol...78.73MB!!!!!!
I'm using the 523 sfi...signal is kinda sh!tty all over I'll wait it out for a bit and see what perspires.
same thing happens with me, using 649 base + 569 .sfi. signal kinda sucks for the 1st day. i move my bb just a little, whoala the signal drop or even goes to SOS.

still waiting for the os to settle..
If this signal problem continues, I will load a patch to solve the signal strenght...
Not sure if settle-ing process will affect your Signal Strenght, but for me, its the same before or after it settles. Anyways, this is my 2nd day on RC5B, ADR still high, above 8% even on idle, on normal, heavy usage, will goes up to 27% per hour lol! MDR too, will see how it goes after more batt pulls and in upcoming days ahead

Maybe .569 doesnt suit him well, unlike me, .569 is almost the same like .523*signal strenght but abit warmer. .649 even warmer than .569 but better signal strenght so ill simply stick to .523

I just want to make sure; did you install RC5B or RC5A2(link was given by zocs to limited person), since they are different. If you installed RC5B, wait until the 3rd day, if the problems still there, wipe and re install RC5B.
Hope you loaded the browser patch version...if not here you are. Trust me, you'll see a very noticeable improvement with the fluidity and speed of the browser. Link below for the RC5B 9900 FULL OS WITH BROWSER PATCH
Hi, been away guys, just want to know RC5B for 9900, which base do we use? .569 or .649 or is there anything higher? Also Zoc's link for RC5B does it contain the .523 multi lang .sfi?
Thanks.
And secondly, who of you have os .658 with RC5B on your 9810??
Im running .569 with it and has been all been going good
just thinking is .658 would be better

You can use any base of .523,.569, or .649. Yes, RC5B comes with Multilang .523 Sfi

I install the RC5B, and yes, will give it sometime to settle in and do a couple of battery pulls as we speak
If this signal problem continues, I will load a patch to solve the signal strength...
