Am I able to do a 'swap' use .649 as a base? I kind of think I can't because it is for the 9930 not 9900....Ian? Zocs? Someone? lol if I'm able to do so I might as well give it a shot and see what happens....why do I want to use .649 as a base, I think cause it is a higher number and I like new things lol.

How was the base for you? I know it can vary I'd like to hear how it handled on your end.

I for one used the .649 base and copied and replaced RC5b then shrinked to my choice and used the .523sfi (smaller one ).
The results are Awesome and i am Loving it !

Guys, I change my OS sometime twice a week, it wont get worn out...lol

And I am also trying an sfi file change at the moment.

I was liking the 523 one but need to see if we can improve on one of the others.

This hybrid as of the start has been OS 7 only, with OS 6 still being worked on by the team. It says you're using a 9780, just giving you a heads up!

It is a fine tuned mix of 11 if not more different OS's...pretty intense, as Ian said, just rape your phone and all will be well.

Damn, having my 9900 sent back to RIM for repair/replacement just as the BL team releases RC5B with the superboosted browser. Arggg... can't wait!

Hey it isn't a big deal at all, I like the feedback I get when I ask things, and can only do the same to 'pitch in' so to speak.

I wouldn't know jack sh!t if it wasn't for members such as yourself, Phill, Zocs, Ian, JayDee amongst a whole bunch of others for their input and tips. On top of that this hybrid has had some 'noobs'* trying it out, and prompt replies will make sure their process goes over smoothly, and fast so that they can see what they've been missing .

Thanks for the shout out though! Also big up to the BL team, and the community here as well!

*Didn't mean to offend anyone, just couldn't think of any other word.

Plus one on those sentiments.

Until RC1 came out I hadn't even contemplated loading up a Hybrid but Zocs, Ian and the team were always available and gave me the confidence to give it a go.

Haven't looked back and have no regrets at getting involved in this thread, as I have said before, it has become a community within a community and one that I'm pleased to be part of.

On 3rd full day with RC5B now, no issues at all, nice battery, virtually no memory leak and thanks to Sators patch the best browser ever.

Cheers guys for all the info and help given, too many of you all to thank indivivually but you know who you are.
