Anything higher than .523. Your base doesnt consume whats best, because eventually, you will have to delete all the content inside your Loader files / Java folder and replace it with this Hybrid files entirely as for 9900 users. But for you, just get .523 or higher and you'll be fine

Hmm, i dont have a 9790, but what i did saw previous previous on this thread, they go for .569 for base and .523 for sfi? Not sure if the .523 sfi for 9790 runs cooler and better like 9900. Why dont you give it a try? .569 sfi is good too and you just download the Java only for this Hybrid and paste it in the Java directory after you install .569 Official OS as your base.

.649, I'm not sure if you can mix it with the .658 from the 9810, TBH though .649 isn't that good.

If I were you, I'd install that and paste the java files from RC5B over it, I think that will work fine. Just don't touch the UMTS folder that's gonna have your 9790 (.649) radio. I been using .649 SFI for a while and it worked great, signal strength was strong but it did get kinda warm.

The browser BTW is gonna really blow your mind haha, its crazy fast, my friend was gonna sell me his white iphone 4 and i was playing with the browser on both and my BB seemed faster (rly!)

From what I hear the .523 SFI is better than .569/.649, it runs a lot cooler.
To use zoc's hybrid you can use any of the 3 OS's I linked, anything above .523 works!

I have helped a number of users install the hybrid onto the 9790 with .569 as the base for the RC5 Beta Hybrid.

It does work well. But You can use .649 as the base only the radio was a bit less reliable than the 5** ones.

I believe the 9900 .523 file is already included on the first post. If not it is the full OS.

I was correct but due to our file host being down currently the link was broken. Updated to a mediafire link.

No that sounds pretty much like the general opinions of the radios.

.569 was a good radio just felt like it was burning up.
