a bit off-topic though - Is there a way to find out if a device has a hybrid or official version?
I need to submit my phone to service center hence the question
Wipe and reload with official os.

I'm really sorry, I've got a 9810 and I've just had enough of a dying battery after 6-8 hours. I've read a good 20 or so pages at the start and end of the thread but going through all these pages really would take me forever!
Which hybrid of BerryLicio.us is the best build to load onto my phone?
What base OS should I use also?

It's all good in the hood lol. So I guess this is like my 3rd last battery pull as I like to over do things...so far so good after initial install. Booting up again as we speak, will give more feedback before the end of the work day!
I still swear by BL hybrids and recommend them to anyone who will listen. Unfortunately, VVM continues to give me issues. (I installed RC5A w/523 radio, and even installed apps individually after OS).
At roughly 48 hours my stats (from Device Manager) are as follows:
ADR 6.51%
Total CPU 17.32%
Modules with highest CPU...
VVM 4.24% (Insane!)
net_rim_bb_fileindexservice) 2.94% (also crazy - assume related?)
app world 1.26%
Drivesafely 0.91%
Ubersocial 0.86%
Use was mostly setup after reinstall so App World heavy use so high CPU is logical. Fairly heavy BBM use also. VVM was running mostly in the background. Drivesafely @ 0.91 isn't unusual. Ubersocial was very heavy use.
I've called Rogers a few times on VVM. For some reason, they had my 9900 PIN & device correct in the BIS system but in their (other?) system, it still showed my 9700. Perhaps this was related, so I'm going to reset the ADR and see if it makes a difference.
(Zoc's note - this time I didn't install the modified phone and VVM files. I was curious what would happen with a clean install and even all apps installed individually after.)
On RC4 I was getting between 1.5 and 2.8% per hour and a memory loss of 35mb. With this release I am currently sitting at 1.2%/hour and currently on -1.4mb on about 2 days usage.
