    RC5A

    RC5A9900M_v7.1.0.523_P5.1.0.393.zip

9900 only full OS, with latest .56 ввм, facebook, twitter beta.

Couple of paid apps needing key if you've purchased.

And no, RC5B won't be out until new radio is out.

Thanks Zocs. Would this be better than Phill_UK's mix or similar?

You could have downloaded the full package then only used the java but since we are good people:

Java Only will come but app versions are different

It's not 'my mix'... it was just simple Java swap.

@legal: hope it works out well, we are still waiting for this ellusive newer OS to drop for the 9900.

Maybe them we will try another mix. But have fun with your own mix.

Keep your eyes on the thread, you never know when an update may appear.

Sent from my BlackBerry 9900 using Tapatalk on BL Hybrid
Sods Law that RC5A hits the thread less than 24 hours after I'd loaded another new OS !!!

The Java Swap OS is seeming quite promising so far but early days of course.

13 hours off charge and battery sitting at 95% with light use and no memory change. 15c temp with old faithful .523 .sfi.

Working day tomorrow will tell more. Will stick with it for a few days just to monitor performance.

Worry not Ian, this thread will be monitored closely, I haven't divorced BL Hybrids, just having a bit on the side at the moment !!!

lmao....I did say be patient. As Zoc says, this is an interim release until we get a new radio to test.

This release is giving better results than RC4 did but just as smooth

@legal: no worries, I know the OS`s that we put together are more than just a straight swap. I would let your settle and
see it he new OS leaks tomorrow or tue before replacing straight away, unless you are desperate.

I dont like the ascii logo tbh zocs, the bb symbol on the homescreen too. The actual bb logo actually, yikes! But, here ya go, helping you out

    ASCII Logo by BDC Full.font

P/s ; Just copy and paste it to the "font" folder in you device memory like the other fonts that you install on your device,

The other allows emoji colour emoticons in emails where this one doesn't.

As I said, will share later, along with instructions.

    First lot of fonts http://www.mediafire.com/file/l68il9vl9699ov9

    Second lot http://www.mediafire.com/file/ol7xm2henm7u8sj

You still need arial, emoji, global, and latin. Of course as per Phill, times required if you wanted to view power point files.

Usual exercise put in storage/appdata/rim/fonts folder
