    Bedding in a hybrid

one would restore all data and apps, then do a batt pull.

One then would then do another batt pull before bed, then fully charge it over night.

One would also do 2x battery pulls per day for next two days.

As I said in the previous post. That is my own schedule.

I do occasionally reboot it I feel required.

Once your phone has indexed itself a battery pull is best then.

That sounds about right, it can't hurt with a few extra's. Lol

    My own schedule is:
    Battery pull after install
    Restore data using DM
    Then Reboot
    Install apps
Battery pull on bedtime(no charge overnight)
One battery pull per day(next 2-3 day)

Is it okay for my BB?

Indexing: usually takes about 8 hours for mine to finish.

You can find out by searching for a phone number. See how long it takes to come up.

    Thanks Legal,
I almost got that right except for a battery pull before bed.

when you guys say battery pull...you mean actually pulling and re-inserting the battery or simulating it via apps like quickpull/meterberry (reset device) options are fine too?

I do it via apps and not manually.

.649 has just gone official for China Telecom... so that's why it was such a crappy OS!

or i should do it manually.

Also do you wait for say a min or two before inserting the battery?

Nothing racist meant there BTW... I just meant that China Telecom's previous attempt at an official OS was .437 which without Zoc's magic mix, was completely unusable!

There is no magic formula... just do what feels right for you.

@will - Phill may be giving you false hope, these OS`s are usually spotted a good while before they appear,

I can remember OS`s in the 600`s spotted months ago.

When something appears we will start the process again, until then please enjoy the current releases.
damn phill really got me there Lol

Its been over 2 days.. I'm sure the os has settled!!

    15% battery drain
Its not meterberry, its my own observation!
    08-27-12 11:52 AM
  17. deezy87's Avatar
So the highest drain I got was 6.74% but my memory drain is nuts! Powered on for 9 hours and 50 minutes and have lost 26.8MB. It was a lot better on RC3, I'll be watching this for this week, and if need be revert back to RC3.

Edit - The ADR is at 6.74% because I worked the living sh!t out of the phone all day, maybe that's why the memory drain is high as well?

Okay so I'm currently running the RC2. I want to upgrade to the RC4 due to the positive feedback. I'm thinking of erasing my OS

    loading up 9900M_PBr7.1.0_rel1716_PL5.1.0.415_A7.1.0.569_Clar o_Dominican_Republic

adding the alx/cod files from RC4 and add the .523 sfi

Is this correct I'm just nervous because it seems to be working fine?

    Using 9900.

am on RC4-B & while everything seems ok, the batt drain rates are awful & have never been in the 2% or under ... always abt 4~8% while batt temp is cool at 21~24 C.

    what do you suggest guys & zocs ? Back to RC2 with .523sfi & .580 base ?
