I have installed your both hybrids on my 9860 with base. 523 and had problem for connecting wifi and saving it. Although hybrid is quite fast and smooth but I can't live without wifi. Have others also face similar issues. How can it be rectified..?
No wifi issue here at all, try to reste your router anc check how many device you have connected to it

my hotspot feature drops constantly on here every 3-5 mins or so.

the phone is very snappy tho and browser is super fast. not sure if the battery is all that great as i posted before for me as alot of the time im having to run wifi hotspot.
is the hotspot feature a problem with the .569 radio im using?

Is your hotspot settled to switch off every one minute of inactivity? I have tried it several times the feature without encountering any problems. I also get it connected with very low signal like 1 bar on edge :O my sfi is from 569 as well and my carrier is Vodafone. Which one is your service provider?

    No WiFi issues here either

    On Voda UK

Ran .569 sfi on Mk1 and am running .523 sfi on Mk2 version.

    25 hours off charge.

Light use as it's mainly a business phone, battery level 81% ADR 0.8%

    Memory loss 0.2mb.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. Will this cause mic issues on ATT? Or is it a coin toss? I live in a very crowed area and I seem to have the mic problem whenever an OS might be prone to having this issue.

    Thanks in advance!

Bad news is that if you have the mic issue with .523 or .569 the hybrid java does not cure it.

I live on wifi the day. I can't live without it. And no, I have no issues with wifi. Are you sure its not your router?
I am also on wifi for a lot of the day and not had any issues with signal at all.

If you look currently under options, device, app management, then os 7.1

Scroll down, there are duplicates, even quadruples modules.

They are being called multiple times by the blackberry and platform alx.

    These alx has been trimmed

Thanks for the reply. I just took a look and noticed many duplicate modules, including 12 copies of net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine. What's with that? If there are so many duplicates, I can't help but wonder if fixing that alone would speed up the OS. It seems that the loader is pretty brain-dead if it can't sort this out.

Ok...just so I understand, I can remove the files from the java folder of the stock OS, and place the hybrid files into that folder?

I'm good at messing things up, just trying to cover my backside here.

It should work great on most, if not all OS 7.1 devices as long as you put the correct base OS in place.

if you had installed .569 base or .523 base, and copy and paste the hybrid java over, and shrink out what you don't need you should be left with DE resources?

That's what I have done with the GB resources.

We are happy with the improvements RC2 has provided currently the only thing that might change soon is the radio file if a new OS appears.

I am thinking you have Desktop manager or apploader open while you are doing this, close all blackberry apps and retry the extract

    That should do the trick.
