    Hi All,

Just to ask, would this hybrid be good for my 9790 ? I am running it on 7.1.0.569 ! Please advice !

That should in theory work fine. Throw the mix over a fresh install

    Hi Zocstar,

I have just upadted to Ultimate hybrid 7.1 for my 9790, it was pretty smooth loading the OS to say the least but i will have to wait for the os to settle in before i post any comments. It now shows as OS 7.1.0.580.

This is the fist time i am using a hybrid OS and am glad i finally took the plunge, i am thankful to you for all your efforts and all those who put in all the relevent questions which helped a lot.

In a couple of days, i will post all the findings ! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Was quite happy with .267 until I "upgraded" to .523. It was so laggy and unresponsive most of the time, regardless of restarts. Tried out this hybrid and phone is snappy and responsive once again! Thanks!

my hotspot feature drops constantly on here every 3-5 mins or so.

the phone is very snappy tho and browser is super fast. not sure if the battery is all that great as i posted before for me as alot of the time im having to run wifi hotspot.

is the hotspot feature a problem with the .569 radio im using?

Also attached alx for 9900 (Dakota), 9860 (Monza), 9810 (Jenings) to avoid duplicate modules being loaded on to phone under app management.
Would you please explain in more detail what the purpose of the alx files is?

If you look currently under options, device, app management, then os 7.1

Scroll down, there are duplicates, even quadruples modules.

They are being called multiple times by the blackberry and platform alx.

    These alx has been trimmed

I have installed your both hybrids on my 9860 with base. 523 and had problem for connecting wifi and saving it. Although hybrid is quite fast and smooth but I can't live without wifi. Have others also face similar issues. How can it be rectified..?

I live on wifi the day. I can't live without it. And no, I have no issues with wifi. Are you sure its not your router?

Its not router issue since wifi working very fine on official OS or even some hybrids earlier. This hybrid including RC, I have tried twice but no connectivity of wifi. It does show but doesn't get saved. I am sure it is hybrid issue some cod files might be missing or required to be changed. Or I may be working on 9900 but problem on 9860.

I have not heard others. So let's hear from others who are having issue on wifi, other than 9900

somedays back I tried hybrid OS7.1 Babyluv by Barracuda series 5 on 9860. Everything was working fine including wifi but problem was it had base .402. Now, since .569 has been available, I would like to test newer build. Hope you would release soon a new version!
