2nd battery pull also slow, nothing like what people described.....software seems ok, nothing that is extraordinary so far. Maybe it will be different in a few days with more battery pulls, not sure though.
Hopefully it shouldnt take that long once your apps settle and your handset syncs with the network.

I did an overnight pull last night and it seems to be better.

Yeah, let the OS settle in a couple of days. Do your battery pulls every 6hour or so. Dont batt pull every once in an hour lol

Yes, your phone wont settle and will continue to try and index if you pull the battery every 5 mins.

I have only done 3 pulls since i installed on sunday. and one of them was an app updated.

    Wow, what a mix! Just been through the modules and there's files from OS .284 .336 .391 .398 .402 .428 .437 .523 .536 .569 and .580!

Using Release 2 over .569 base and .523 radio, with personally modified alx files.

So far, so good... no issues to report, and smooth as silk.

    Thanks for sharing guys!

    Hi Phil

    On same network as you.

Just curious why .523.sfi rather than .569 and which .523 do you use ?

    Legal

    Just a personal choice

I found the .523 radio gives me better signal strength than .569 where I am in the South East, and I like how cool it runs. I found .569 a little spotty in poor reception areas. I'm using the MultiLang .523 sfi from Digicel

I've noticed that .569 doesn't run quite as cool as .523 did, but having said that it still runs way cooler than any OS prior to .523 did.

I only used .523 with the larger .sfi so I may well give your brew a try.

Thanks as always for your input.

.523 runs insanely cool compared to older builds. I can idle well under 20 deg C, and even under heavy load it rarely goes above 30.

While I was away using .428 I hit 50C on several occasions... that was a real palm burner!

I find the .469 radio better on orange and believe it or not, the 428 battery management is better by far even though it was a hot build

Horses for courses Ian... it just proves that asking 'which build is best?' is pretty pointless

They all act differently for each of us.

I dunno what you're expecting but if you have meterberry telling you and booting under 3 minutes, its fast. Some people experience up to 10 depending on how many groups they belong to on various messaging platforms.

Aye iFraser, I agree. A wee bit impatient on my part. Having said that WillChrome in the next post has had a completely different start up experience to mine. I did not Security wipe nor wipe. Maybe thats the issue.

Could be. i always wipe and install from the ARM, not the Java so I get a low level load. and i never seem to have issues. But as with everyone, it takes a day or so to settle.

@james: that will be because phill is using different cod file that he has chosen to change himself

Phill using 523 sfi compared to your 569 hence the lower platform he has

Hi Zocster, I do have meterberry and battery drain is close to 20% and memory 2.5 hours a -11.9 MB leak, it has to be the wipe, I should have done a security wipe then a BBH Tool wipe. I have no other explanation.

I have my fingers crossed but as I just told Zocster battery and memory leak is quite awful at the moment.

A normal wipe would do. And is standard exercise when installing a hybrid.
