So I get home today and my WIFI calling syncs right up. maybe the OS had to settle in. One day in with this Hybrid, and I am impressed and I wonder why I waited so long to take the plunge.

AT&T user here with no mic issues at all. Battery life is amazing, boot up so quick, navigation on device is smooth and very responsive. Well done guys!
Hey jonduran,
Not to take anything away from zocster and his good work - but the reason you are not having mic issues is due to where you live. You can check out the thread I started about this problem and you will see it is dependent on where you live:
From that thread - here is the list of known "good" and "bad" cities:
MIC REPORTS FROM CITIES USING .4XX and .5XX OS's ON AT&T:

i'm an avid hybrid enthusiast, been tryin all the diff. hybrids out there for 9900, glad to say that this is DA , barracuda hybrids for 9900 v2.8 which is decent, didn't even come close to this performance of ur BL
tested it for 2 days, heavy bbm, emails, calls, unbelievable speed, crazy fast signal lock on both GPS, EDGE & 3G, fastest boot up on 9900 EVER!!!, batt about 16 hours of heavy usage, buttery smooth (might as well call it zoc butter - pun on Jelly bean's project butter)
GREAT WORK and thanks! ; really, we the hybrids community owe u big time for this steroids. it'll be really hard to think that anything else can top this one
P.S. for those who havent took the plunge, do it ASAP!!!! use .569 as ur base, def better than .523
Did a 24 hour battery pull and charged up to full. Went our for a few beers and forgot to put the phone in my pocket, DOH !! So no calls and the odd e.mail inbound.
Off charge 8:30 PM Friday
Now 10:15 AM Saturday
Battery level 94% !!!!
This thing seems to idle on fresh air, never seem anything quite like it on the 9900.
After reading everyone's reviews, I can't wait to try this hybrid out!!
One quick question... I know how to shrink the OS using BBH Tools, but how to do I wipe my device before I load the shrunk OS? I've never used BBH Tools before am I'm a bit confused...
If I click Shrink my OS, and then Launch Loader, will an option come up for me to wipe my device before it loads the shrunken OS?

Thanks for any advice.
You don't really need to do a manual wipe before installing.
If you install it using DM it does a wipe as part of the install process anyway.
If you really want to do a wipe use BBH Tools, click on the tab marked Phone Tools and the wipe feature is in there.
Once you have shrunk the OS using BBH you do not have to use BBH to install the OS, you can use DM or App Loader, whichever way you usually laod an OS is fine.
I'm going on a trip to the US and I plan on buying a data roaming plan with Rogers. Will this hybrid OS affect anything? ... like them sending me service books?
