Guys I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 and I was wondering which version I should install (which is the latest?). Thank you very much.
You can use RC22 with OS 7.1.0.1098 on your Bold 9900

I have a QWERTZ phone (curve 9360) but would like to install QWERTY layout.

There is a quote from a thread of that problem:
All you have to do is upgrade to 190, 205 or 437, install English only language
    forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-bold-9930-9900-f235/qwertz-qwerty-keyboard-726351

Is it possible with Hybrid OS? If so, please tell me what OS version is compatible with Curve 9360?

    Sure you can, network option (2G 3G and 2G & 3G) is carrier's dependant.

I'm using official 1098, and i have only one choice for network option: 4G. Althought, in other device (not AT&T), i can change network option to 2G, 3G, 2G&3G.

Mrk1102, the network option is carrier dependant, we can't change it.

Hi Sator! Have a question about RC22. Im actually using it on a 9900 and works fine instead a few problems I found:
Battery level some times drop without any sense. I use now 2 batterys (the one suplied with the phone and a gold type replacement)
but the same ramdom level drops appear in both. Example: Some times turn off the phone in 93% in the night and switch on on the mornig with a 10 or 15% less, in 83%. Dont know is a harware issue or some sofware error, but happens always.
Have to say I have done a battery calibration procedure and the problem persists.

I Think so the same about another problem I found:
Battery level drains quickly and very fast if the phone turns into GSM mode. Normally in GPRS, EDGE or 3G works fine but in GSM mode (instead a 100% coverture level) battery drain always take place. If you have operator data blocked the phone literally "eat batterys in a hurry!".

Sofware desig problem or 9900 hardware issues?

And thaks for your work here!

Hi SpaBold, base on your description it looks like your battery is starting to leak a little bit, usually it drops only 1-2% during nite time.

Our battery will drop faster if we have a bad connection since our phone will keep on searching for the network. Maybe you can reinstall your OS (do a clean install, restore important backups only).

Thanks Sator! Normally yes, 1-2% less during nite time, in this 9900 and others BB models I own.
But random fluctuations seems befall some times, without sense using both batterys, sometimes. Thats strange because both are new one, not used.

About battery drain in GSM mode only is other strange issue, because OS is new (Wiped a few days ago) and network aerial are 300 meters from my house, so very very strange. Have to say thats come about in GSM mode (network data blocked), not in GPRS or EDGE.

Any way very happy with this RC22. Works better than official.

    Thanks!

Check your battery, make sure it sits on the right position (you can put a piece of paper or a name card between the battery and the battery door), it could be a loose battery or app. Conflict that causes random reboots.
