    1. The Hybrid will give you a more stable Os with better battery life than standard OS and a way faster browser.

    2. Backup your device using Desktop manager software that needs to be installed on your PC.
    https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...247A852FAD3647

    3. Install a base OS on your PC for the 9900, .1098 is recommended
Berryshout! Home of the Blackberry OS Version Tracker
On PC, delete Vendor file located here:
    64-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
    32-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
Copy and paste (overwrite) the .alx files from the RC22 download over those in the base OS
Copy and paste (overwrite) all of the java files in the RC22 download over those in the base OS.
The Hybrid is now ready to install.
Perform your backup, shrink the OS if required using BBH Tools and run app loader.

    RC22 & .1098 on 9320

when i use many apps on the same time (bbm, whatsapp, browser, etc.), the busy cursor shows for 1-2 microsecond
however, it doesnt effect the overall performance. the system still run light, solid n fast.
But this is my first experience. i never experience this (the busy cursor shows) when using rc15 to rc 21.

    ELITE1's OS UPGRADE GUIDE
    (updated 2012-09-01)

1.(Optional) Uninstall any previous OS from PC.
2.Download OS to PC. Use Internet Explorer, not Firefox or Chrome. (For leaked versions, browser is irrelevant.)
*If 100% certain you previously used FF or Chrome on same PC to DL an OS successfully, feel free to use FF or Chrome again.
3.Following successful DL, run OS file to install OS on PC.
4.On BB, go to BBM Options, scroll down to Backup section. Ensure Remote Backup is enabled AND also conduct a Local Backup to media card.
5.Go through any 3rd party apps with option to save settings to media card. Conduct Backup to media card within each of these apps. (Examples: Bellshare apps like BerryBuzz & BerryWeather; QuickLaunch; Shao's apps like Wallpaper Changer & SixTools; etc).
6.Connect BB to PC. Open DM and backup device. Close DM.
7.(Optional) Use desktop app like BBSAK or BBMCP to backup 3rd party apps.
8.On PC, delete Vendor file located here:
    64-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
    32-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
9.(Optional/Recommended) Run BBH Tool (formerly Shrink-A-OS) or BB Boss v2.2 (not as updated as BBHT).
10.In same AppLoader file where you deleted Vendor, double-click Loader to load OS to BB. Follow onscreen instructions.
11.After loading OS, perform several physical battery pulls over first 1-2 days for OS to "settle in." Perform first batt pull very soon after OS is loaded.

    **TROUBLESHOOTING**
How to Fix OS not Appearing as Available
    There are 2 common reasons:

    A. HIDDEN VENDOR FILE
Consider trying this new desktop app to remove Vendor from several common locations:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-files-709738/

If manually deleting Vendor, always hold down SHIFT and press DELETE to permanently delete.
    Check here first:
    64-bit: Computer\C:\Users\{USER NAME}\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
    32-bit: Computer\C:\Documents and Settings\{USER NAME}\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
If Loader still doesn't make new OS available, search PC for "Vendor".

If Vendor is not found anywhere, see below to delete contents of AppLoader folder. (Folder where you found Loader & Vendor.)

    B. APPLOADER FOLDER ITEMS
1.Uninstall the OS: Control Panel\Programs and Features, highlight this BlackBerry Device Software, click Uninstall at top.
2.Delete AppLoader folder contents: Highlight any item, CTRL+A to select all, SHIFT+DELETE to permanently delete.
    64-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
    32-bit: Computer/C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader
    3.Restart PC.
4.Re-install OS on PC: Go to your browser's downloads section, double-click OS to start InstallShield Wizard.
5.Delete Vendor: Return to AppLoader folder, highlight Vendor, SHIFT+DELETE.
6.Load OS to BB: Attach BB to PC, double-click Loader (in AppLoader folder, where you deleted Vendor).

    Hi all,

I've installed the Hybrid BL Ultimate OS 6 v1.0.0 on my Torch 9800, it's fast and stable. But later I found out that I can't setup my email accounts with it, tried to access the Email Accounts setting in the Setup page but it won't launch. I've re-installed the Hybrid OS 6 twice, but ends up with the same problem with the Email Accounts setting. Have anyone experienced the same problem when installing the Hybrid OS 6 v1.0.0?

    Hi BerryLicio.us team,

I've installed and use BerryLicio.us Ultimate Hybrid OS RC22 for a couple of months now, it's fast especially the boot-up. But unfortunately, I've experienced few glitches with it:
    1. The BlackBerry connection often drop, I had to re-register the Host Routing Table (at the Advanced System Settings) several times and rebooted the BlackBerry, a simple turn on/off the signal won't do.
    2. Sometimes there's a glitch when I plugged in a headphone, I've recorded a video to explain it better and you can watch it here.
    3. There are few apps that apparently aren't fully compatible with the RC22; like bank apps and themes. For bank apps; sometimes it's so slow to secured the connection resulting the apps to shut down, or sometimes the secured connection couldn't start and it took me several attempts before I got it through.
    4. For themes; there's a certain error message that will pop-out every time I rebooted the phone: "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerExeception" I've posted a screenshot of it below.

BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices-screen_20140708_073122_zps87619da7.jpg

Just in case you guys need to check things out, here's a list of info of my BlackBerry:
    BB Device Model: 9900
    BB OS: 7.1 Bundle 2965
    BB Apps Version: 7.1.0.1121
    BB Platform Version: 5.1.0.701
    Display Language: English
    Input Language: English
    Country code: IDN
    SIM Home network: MNC=10;MCC=510

The same thing happened with my Torch 9800 running BL Ultimate OS6 rel_1.0.0 (with SFI).

I've tried re-installing the BL Hybrid OS RC22 and the BL Ultimate OS6 rel_1.0.0 several times, and erase the BlackBerries with SIC Multiwipe first before installing the Hybrid OS, but the problems persist.

Thanks for listening to my rant, hopefully there's a solution for these glitches cause I really want to use BL Hybrid OS for my BlackBerries.

Keep up the great job guys.

Does it happen on all themes? Some themes are not updated as they should be. Can you try with the stock theme? These null pointer errors are more so related to apps. Can you recall what was the last one you had installed?

I've installed three themes after I tried BL Hybrid OS; two of them are from the same developer & one theme is different. And yes, the 'NullPointer' error message always pop-out whenever I applied those themes, but everything is normal if I use the stock theme.

The last app I installed is that theme I've posted above, and it's quite new its last update was April 24th, 2014. I've contacted the developer and he/she say never encountered that kind of error before, so I tried reinstall my Torch 9800 with an official BB OS, and it's all good no 'NullPointer' error message.

So I guess this got to do with BL Hybrid OS...
