Using the 7.1 cods seems to have produced a decent performance on the OS 6 devices, glad we can be of help.

Installed over the weekend and I am in love with this Hybrid. Sooooo much better than the other one I had been using where battery drain was an average of 7.6% an hour and I had a constant memory drain of 3megs a day. Now even though it is still in the settling in phase battery average has been 4.7% with 3g and Wi-Fi on all the time. Glad I made the switch.

After 3 days, overall performance in terms of browsing speed, display responsiveness, and apps loading is excellent. However, battery drain is on the high side on standby (2.8% vs. 1.8% from previous hybrid) and normal use (4% to 6% vs. 2.3% to 3.2%) with mobile network set to 3G.

Not blaming the hybrid for the apparent higher batt drain, it's either device hasn't fully settled yet or 650 sfi not fully compatible with my telco/provider. Will wait till weekend for device to settle & at the same time try either .668 or .723 sfi.

#Good to know you are having success, you could try a slightly higher sfi file, it may be a better match to your provider as you think.

Yup, will see until Thursday to confirm if device finally settled, otherwise, a reinstall with .668 sfi is in order. Thanks!

Will jump to 723 as suggested.

Just did the second battery pull for the day (after 3 days) and still at 4% ++ average ADR. Should be getting 3% normally after 3 days. Might do a reinstall tonight with a 723 sfi.

I'm about to reinstall with 723 sfi after finding out that ADR remains high even after setting mobile network to 2G (only).

Need help with handling alx file. In my previous install, downloaded Email Setup v 72.12.0517.1328 & decided to include it in the installation by copying cod files to Java dir & alx file to where it should be in Loader Files dir. It didn't work!

I suspect cod files were not loaded since there is no pointer to the Java dir where the cod's are located. Is the syntax below the proper way to point to the Java dir?

    <directory SystemSize="normal">Java</directory>
    <directory SystemSize="small">Java8M</directory>

    Thanks.

Just change the version numbers on net_rim_bis alx and as I recall it had the same name of cods listed as requirements.

The alx came with the downloaded zip file from JDezigns I think & missing with the dir pointer. Anyway, adding the two lines mentioned did the trick.

Looking good now with 723 sfi as ADR on standby is 1.5%. Will see if it remains this way after 3 days of settling process. Thanks.
