    This surprises you? Of course the carriers are going to hold off releasing it until they have made some money from devices that have it preloaded.

    It will likely be leaked as soon as the carriers get a useful version for testing.

    there a lot of smartasses in this thread.

    that is sad news, but luckily for us 9700 owners there are far in excess of 50 (a complete guess) carriers around the entire world who can release a 6.0 update at their own will.
