I have a weird problem with your installers both V7 and V6.1 . Whenever I begin to install it, at around 30% complete my computer crashes ( no bluescreen, just shuts off) Iv never had any problems like this before installing any program. is there a way to upload the changed cods or an entire OS folder. I'm trying to install OS6.

    Thanks

Besides the issues I have mentioned, this is a nice build and hybrid, on par with .448 on my device. Still testing battery life. Minimal waitclocks so far. Boot up time is around 2 minutes for me.

BlackBerry Torch users are any of you running BDHP 7.0 with the beta OS v6.0.0.534? If so how is it in comparison to beta OS v6.0.0.526?

So far its fine.. I have had it running for a couple of hours. Only issue I have had is I have been unable to load the UMA certificates via the phone directly. Can't open the link in the page. Other than that so far so good. Battery is pretty good. I also have bb mess leak 6.0.0.56 running without any issues.

Thanks for the info, I'm updating the OS right now... I had to take the plunge. I couldn't resist taking the new beta for a test drive. I'll post my feedback later on.

After installing BDHP 7.0 using base v6.0.0.534 on my BlackBerry Torch I've already noticed a couple differences from when I was running v6.0.0.526 as a base:

    1) The BlackBerry boot up time is back to about 3 minutes which is great because with v6.0.0.526 the boot up time was almost 10 minutes.

    2) The BlackBerry is very responsive and seems to be snappier than it was running v6.0.0.526

It's only been a short while since I've done the update so I cant say much about battery life. So far it seems similar to v6.0.0.526

Initially I found running BDHP 7.0 with v6.0.0.526 as a base to be a definite winner for the BlackBerry Torch, but with the v6.0.0.534 beta out now it's worth the OS update to run with this hybrid version.

I just hit 50% at 11 pm. Came off the charger (at 100%) at 1 am.

MeterBerry tells me I'm burning 2.3% per hour since 1 am.

I'm on 2G, FWIW. No WiFi/UMA, no Bluetooth.

I just installed a fresh install on a .534 base. Every time I restart, it shows up a "uncaught exception.whatfor" or something like that. What's the problem?

Got the same error. Reinstalled the base os but did not shrink out anything. Reloaded and the error did not show up again.

Hence why I put on the first page. Install on ur own query. Also its y I didn't put it in the hybrid and put it as a separate entity

Using 8520, with base .1067, everything has been running smoothly. Only one question, the os6 clock faces do not seem to come up, any ideas why?

I'm averaging around 1.2-2% and as high as 3.1% discharge
General use for email and BBM at work, probably around 300 msg/email or so combined and 1hr of talking.

Depending where in the building I may be spending more time in while at work, the battery discharge would be greater when the BB is set for 2G/3G.
If staying on 3G all day, I'm not worried about plugging in until I go to bed

I've put my Torch through some heavy use today and so far no major issues with BDHP 7.0 with base OS v6.0.0.534 so I'm quite pleased.

The only minor issues I've noticed is there seems to be a little bit of lag with the media player and the text smileys app no longer works. I'm sure it has to do with the beta base OS and not the hybrid. Overall performance and battery life seem to be great!

Tried BDHP7.00 with .526 and .534. It worked really well with .534. With .526 i was still experiencing some lags but with .524 it just adapted much better.....

    my 2 cents.

Been running this Hybrid on my Torch over .526 for a couple days now, and everything seems to run really well. Browser is definitely faster then previous hybrids, touch seems more responsive and performance, overall, has just seemed to improve. Battery life hasn't been the absolute greatest for me. Not as good as other hybrids, but I could still last a day and a half on moderate usage.
