i have always had BBM 4.7.0 and everythime i do add and remove apps it alyaws removes 4.7.0 even though its never on my bold and and i always had 5.0 BBM but now my phone lost it connection for like 23rd time and im sick of it. now it cave me and error that it cant find the resource files. now wehn i go over the icon to open BBM it says net_rim_bb_qm_peer and if i open it i get uncaught exception missing resource files

any ideas what to do to make this simple so i dont have to wipe the whole phone and lose my apps

are you trying to upgrade to bbm 5.0?

why not goto blackberry.com/messenger and it will overwrite the files and reboot and you'll have BBM 5.0.


or you can


options > applications > add on > BBM > menu button > delete

Okay thanks that worked now I have the same problem with BlackBerry app world the program is installed but I can't get the icon on my home screen I opened it once with QuickLAUNCH and that's it no more

highlight the icon > menu button > move to folder > home and it will be on your home screen.
