Hey fellow forumers,

I hope this is not a repeated thread, I did look around and did not find any similar topics.

My friend told me today, that the contents of his BBM to person X got leaked out unto another contact's whatsapp say person Y.

Just wanted to ask, has anyone experience this before? I tried googling and did not find any results.

There is no way this would happen. Only way would be if your friend accidentally pasted the text to Whatsapp. Whatsapp is not even on the same network as BBM.

That's what I thought too. He was just insistent that there was no way that could have happened.

Owh well, I did not asked too much. But if "googling" couldn't find an answer, I guess that probably meant no one has ever encounter that.

+1. Not the same network...
This is true is because WhatsApp works via phone number.
BBM works via PIN number.
